SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

Is it just me(Ive tried many different worlds) are all the black areas that used to be the basic 0, are now the same as the item outline 65536.

I was using my guildminer and it didnt work at all because its highly based on the 0 color. All scripts using 0 would have to be updated.

anybody else?


p.s. This is jagex's big plan to destroy us:rolleyes:


EDIT: ok i just checked and its only on the minimap, mainscreen still has 0.

Umm this is been since forever?

It was when I made my first DTM, and propably before that.

Though I also noticed that when you walk, and a loading screen comes, the black on MM is 0.

Ahhh no wonder same here i was using a guild miner and it wont work properly and so does the claws lumby miner doesnt work good much.

In hopes that we wont find out what is wrong for a long time.
They did the same thing with the bank text awhile ago, they moved it a few pixels..

So, how will this affect SRL? Is it the scripts that needs to be fixed or SRL itself?

I knew this was going to happen one day, JagEx gets more and more advanced against us, we need to stay updated!

If all fails, maybe we will be forced into a companionship with RSD? *shiver*

Aaaanyway. Script or SRL needs change?

Depends on the script. Some scripts that work in dungeons (like a guildminer or something) might need to be changed. And some of SRL's antirandom stuff will need to be updated. All that needs to be changed though is some 0s to 65536s ;)

on topic-not a major blow to srl, just change all the colors that are 0 to the "new" black. Jagex is not very smart if they think that will stop us

Anyway, is this only for the minimap or the inventory too? And what possible errors can it lead to currently?

Change tol from 0 to 1. ;)

But like WTF, seriously, I've had the color 65536 forever, and all the stuff I have seen searching for black have used 65536.

Meh

65536 was the static black color around Inv Items.
The 0 black on the MM was the black that occured when it hadnt fully loaded/in a cave/whatever. That MM black is now 65536 too/

haha, thats an easy fix! im glad people finally started responding to this thread, it was empty for a while(thought it really was just me having the problem).

Anywho, this wont cause that many problems in SRL, especially because I got the quiz random yesterday, and my players[#].rand was InBlack, meaning that SRL can either handle the new black color, or they didnt change the black MM color for randoms. The only problem I am having with it is, minimap dots have a shadow drawn in 65536. You can figure out why this could cause problems. I want 0 back!

Any one know of a good mining and bank script I could get a hold of because I have not come across any one that are good. I realy find this to be true….. wait thats why my mining scripts are not working thx so much…. I got to go and fix that this very instant.

Well actually I'm guessing they would need to type nine hundred zillion somewhere.

And they don't need to figure out what black we're using. They programmed it themselves didn't they.

They could use a for loop instead of typing all of those numbers! Hah!
