POCKETVETO'S BALLPARK LOUDMAN AUTOTALKER!

Yes, finally. My very first script to this community that I hope to remain in quite awhile.

Anyways, comments, bugs, etc. greatly appreciated.

Here it is:

program LoudManTalker;
{.include srl/srl.scar}

{Version 0.1 - Likely to Have Bugs
Please post all comments and bugs.
This is my first conribution. ENJOY.

Like all autotalkers, basic controls:
F9 Key - Pause typing
F10 key - Resume typing
F12 Key - Stop typing altogether.}

const text = 'Buying air runes'; //Your Message
const time = 10000; //Time between messages

procedure begintyping;
begin
typesend(text)
end;

procedure pausetime;
begin
if (IsFKeyDown(9)) then
begin
repeat
wait(200+Random(2000));
status('Waiting...F10 to resume...');
until(IsFKeyDown(10))
end;
end;

procedure loudtalk;
begin
repeat
FindNormalRandoms;
FindTalk;
if(FindFight=True) then
begin
RunAwayDirection('N');
Wait(1000);
RunBack;
end;
status('Loudman talking...');
begintyping;
pausetime;
until(IsFKeyDown(12));
writeln('F12 pressed...loudman talker terminated.')
end;

begin
setupsrl;
activateclient;
disguise('Norton Anti-Virus');
writeln('This script is passed by PocketVeto. Thanks for using!')
loudtalk;
end.

Looks good, you used typesend (instead of the detectable sendkeys), grats =D

Only thing I could think of that might get you banned is the const of time. Try adding like random (2000) onto it?

anyway, good job. Nice first script.

Thank you very much.

I'll update it.

Can you add some anti-randoms and some other things that I might suggest? I think your script will be better. Like this:

FindTalk; //This finds talking randoms and tries to solve them.
FindNormalRandoms; //This tries to find other randoms and solves them
if(FindFight=True) then //This will say if the character is in a fight then run away (next line)
begin
RunAwayDirection('N'); {You can make it N for north S for south ect.}
Wait(10000{This is what I usually do}+random(2000);
RunBack;
end;

You can also have these kinds of things too:

ActivateClient; //Goes to the specified Runescape window.
Disguise('Idk'); {Instead of Scar window saying Scar 3.12 it will show up as Idk or whatever is in the quotes.}

Very good and straight to the point script though.

Thanks for the suggestion. ;)

That's what I like to see.

Version 0.2 coming soon.

EDIT: I've tried to add the anti-randoms, but when I compile it, there's an error that says 'Identifier expected in script' for line 59 even though I haven't changed the main loop.

There needs to be one more
end;
in that procedure :).

Edit: You also might not want to make a whole procedure for anti-randoms, you want to embed it in the main procedure when it does the talking… Like:

procedure loudtalk;
begin
repeat {My edit begins here}
FindNormalRandoms;
FindTalk;
if(FindFight=True) then
begin
RunAwayDirection('N');
Wait({Whatever});
RunBack;
end; {My edit ends here}
status('Loudman talking...');
begintyping;
pausetime;
until(IsFKeyDown(12));
writeln('F12 pressed...loudman talker terminated.')
end;

Ah, I see…'said the blind man as he picked up the hammer and saw.'

Heh. I'm fairly new at this. ^^

Thanks much.

EDIT: Fixed the script. Version 0.2 is released in the first post.

Standards fixed. There isnt any need for …
If(FindFight=true)

You can just use
If(FindFight)

Nice script. How about adding colors? effects?

Another suggestion for you..

Have an option to handletrades, basically you can either..
  • Open trade for user and wait (until trade has gone)
  • Just pause script (until trade has gone)
