ok now for some feedback,

Sometimes don't find coal and iron ( no ore found when its right in frount of it)
thats only sometimes.

Some Tips for next version,

• Multiplayer
• When it gets to bank scrools upto to the top of bank and withdraws the coal.

1) not finding an ore is because I just picked the ore colors quickly and didnt get the best color. You can change Worlds, or change line 220:

oreMP.tolerance:=10;

to something higher than 10. 15-20 should do it.

2) it is multiplayer :D

3) yeah, forgot a fixbank. just put:

fixbank;

at line 496ish. Before or after the depositall will do fine.

thx! Use those fixes for now, and ill add that all into the next version.

hmm, never seen that before. Theres no type mismatch on line 410, unless you changed it or wizzy plugin did something wrong? did you try running it again? sometimes it just takes a few plays.

well, like I said, I wanted it by the Guild so its easily accessible after i get alot of coal, also, there are 2 doors in the fally building which are both usually open. In Alk there is one door that closes. Combine that with my beautiful walking procedures:p it works faster than any alk smelter.

I usually write a script skeleton in about 2-3 hours, then the next few days/weeks, i run it and fix/add little things until i think its good enough.

closed it myself to say this, it would be wayy better if u made it run? or make the script hold the control button all the time except for when it needs to withdraw cause if ur holding control and type in something it doesnt come up, and if u hold control it makes u run to where ever u click. it would make this script a lot faster, even if their energy finished when u click somewhere else and they have even 1 or 2 % energy they would still run.

it does about 4.5 bars a minute if it works perfectly, and thats kinda slow, so look into my suggestion up there if u have time.

= 4.32 bars a minute (steel) with my holding control, (running) suggestion it would be a lot faster, i calculated Xcan's script and it goes at about 5.1 bars a minute….but this one lasts a hell lot longer.

Wow amazing script. Works flawlessly, and yes your walking procedure is sexy :P. I've been running for 45 min. without any problems at all, i'll post a proggie when i'm done. 5 stars for this script.

only place it stuffs up that ive seen is to the east of the furnace on the road.

can you make it rune for like 15 mins on each player then keep on running?

it keeps on looping, so if u used all ur players it will use them again.

ah, thank you. I will def fix that. All it needs is somethin like:

so it checks if it exists before it uses the first TPA.

I got a strange problem, it works fine but when it goes in the bank to get ores it freezes, why?

….? hit me with some more details. My guess right now is because i used 'openBankQuiet' which will cause a second or so of lag but it finds bank on first try. On older pcs it could freeze, i guess. Did you try just waiting it out? wait like a minute and see if it kicks back in. Otherwise, post more details:p


Ill be doing an update soon hopefully. I got 30k iron and 10k coal just waiting to be smelted(no exaggeration). If anybody finds anything that needs to be fixed up, lemme know now.

wait like 25-30 seconds, probably less. All thats happening is it mustve lagged or something because it didnt catch the bank screen quick enough, and is trying to find the bank, while in the bankscreen. Itll break out of it soon enough.

thx! The only explanation for that is covered symbols. To many dots were on top of the anvil and guide symbols. Use it in a world with as little people there as possible.

use a dtm…if you could and it get rid of the problem.

yeah, i actually did. I got this script mixed up with my Smither :D

laptop shut down could get the 5 hour proggiez anyz wayz morz feedback

somtimes stops in fally center thats all, i will be using this script allot soon just getting my 4th army to 60 miner then this to 40 smithing then all the coal i get from guild miners to use on this

Right when I start the scripts (no ores in inventory), if the coal is placed left of the iron ( in the bank, btw smelting steel) it will misclick and not withdraw, forcing it to log out. If I place iron to the left of coal it withdraws it and smelts them. When it comes back, it withdraws 9 coal and then 18 more coal. Something wrong with the colors? Btw I have set tolerance to 20 and I changed the coal color, I'll try expirementing with the tolerance for a bit.

I wonder how long it'll take to smelt my 32.5k steel bars….whats that going to be, like 20mill? :D


EDIT: Sweet nvm I got it to work now. I set the tolerance down to 12, and now it will no longer take only coal the 2nd time. Going to let this go overnight (only one char though, my main, so it'll either get stopped a few hours in or get banned in a few days, lets hope your script isn't that awesome and won't go 9 hours lol)

i also got the same prob when the bank just freezes until i get logged out.i have 8k iron in 1st slot and 16.1k coal in 2nd slot

Well It works perfectly as far as I can tell besides that it logs me out every 20ish minutes, and since I have a pin it can't withdraw anymore ore… Is there a way to make it smelt more loads or something?

Very nice script. A huge time saver. I'll attempt a very large smelt job tonight and see how it goes. So far I have had no problem smelting 100 or so.

Now all I need is a working auto seller so I can get rid of the items I smith.

yeah, i knew that was the problem, but a longer wait will slow down the script. I fixed it up a little bit in this version, but if your really having a problem with it saying not enough ores, go ahead and increase the wait to like 2000, and/or run some stuff to speed up your computer :D

i dissagree with you completely, how much more time can 1 second add? 1 second? lol
i think alot of people get this, so it would be wiser to put the bigger wait in, then tell people they can lower it if they need to make it (1 second) faster

Basically after that 8 hour run I've had 45 min, 1hr 15 min, 1hr, 1hr 45 min, 1hr 30min, all because of randoms (seargent drill, pinball, Scaperune, mime) Well if I'm not flagged I'm not too mad cause this is my main and I'm getting all of these random event items lol :D

But am i or am I not flagged :/

haha. you might be flagged. See thats the problem with auto smithing, people only use one character(like myself) and it gets hard. My smither gets randoms constantly, so mostly i just sit by my computer and watch tv while it smelts/smiths and then i can catch randoms without it loggin out and hopefully that helps….? I did the maze and the mime 2-3 times each today. Along with many others. It's just a burden our smithers will have to live with.

Yeah I did a little while after posting :P it won't work with my bank pin though cuz it starts with 00 but I changed it now so it works.

for some reason i get ultimate lag on it it really stinks i start it logged in and it lagggs in from of the bank booth the second i turn it on why

haha, so it was my script in that other post!:redface: I read it and was wondering because I never use bank pins so i just kinda threw it in there for people. I didnt even think about 0's. Im just gonna start using players.strings[#] for bank pins :D

that only reason I think that would happen is if, im guessing, your using a new player thats a smither, and you need to set his brightness to v-bright….? other than that, idk. slow computer?

ahoy! yes, In light of certain updates I kinda decided I am going to go over all my scripts and make them as single player and humanlike as possible when I have the time. The problem is this script is already extremely humanlike, but yes, i have made some new changes in a new version i will release at a later date. But for now ill just let you know why it does some of the common errors.

Not Enough Ore - While withdrawing the ore it either found the wrong item, or after it was withdrawn it took long for it to appear in your characters inventory and read it as he had no ore. So it logs out. It all fixed in the new version.

Not Logged In - I just put that in there when i was testing because i wanted to know where the "nextplayer" was coming from. Its basically for randoms because when they are recognized but not solvable the player will logout. But every once in a while it wont be able to find the furnace or something like that and will logout.

Whoa. After the update this morning, I find that my character just logs out even though is a ton of ores to be smelted.
It says:
not enough ore

I wonder what changed. I'm using rev 9 by the way.

im going to take a guess and say they changed the ore. so a new dtm is needed.

Well I switched back to rev 6 and it finally started working again.

rev#11 someone mustve forgot to delete a variable. It doesnt affect anything but it will say that on every script.

always restart SCAR after you update srl, dont ask my why but its caused alot of errors for me. Also you can try reinstalling SRL and/or SCAR.

This time while entering the pin it lagged and logged out.. and didnt log back in lol

EDIT: also sometimes when it gets to the furnace it is showing the ignore list so it cant see the ores. It then walks back to the bank and deposits the ore it already has and then withdrals it again and goes back to the furnace ect…
I think it should click the inventory when it gets to the furnace so it can see the ores.

This script works very well but what would be really good would be to make it so you can also smelt cannon balls with it from steel bars so you could get alot of smithing xp from this and still make money.

Smithed all ores I got. :spot:

theres a little problem with the walking. Or it could possibly be as simple as directions… from the bank, (facing north) it will always go right out out of the bank (towards the Party Room) and stop. I atempted to adjust the way im facing (to the south this time), and it would go the right way, but not far enough. i then helped it to the furnace to see how far it would go. it smelted the ores perfectly. however, upon the walkback, it failed to make it all the way back to the bank.

I am also saying sorry for the long, boring, message….. :D

hm, i thought i had it set low. You can change it in the script if you know just a lil bit about scripting. Itll be towards the bottom, something like if timeFromMark(s)>600000 then, just change the number to something lower. well silent mouse will not work, if it did itd just get you banned. Use SMART :D

I get the EXACT same error, the problem is ClicktoContinue doesn't work with Level-Up Messages anymore. I think. Other then that, PERFECT.

Also if I try to leave it overnight I come back and scar is completely closed down and gone. If I leave it for longer than an hour or so scar automatically closes. Why? Jagex thinks bots are gone and whatnot. I feel comfortable leaving my main to smith 2k mith bars right in a row without switching players or sleeping.

try re-downloading scar
update srl and includes a bunch of times just to make sure you are up to date…
i just got a 13 hr proggy, but my dad turned off the comp before it finished :)

also try re-downloading the script… and make sure all your is in it correctly

Thanks, but all other scripts work just fine for me. I don't know why, but here is my proggy–it randomly started working. I changed the clicktocontinue with clickcontinue, maybe that helped.

One update suggestion, make it find when it runs out of a certain ore…
Cause if used up all the mith then sat there for 10 min withdrawing and depositing 20 coal over and over and over and over and over…

Very nice script, worked wonderfully. One thing, sometimes, the character might become "stuck" at the entrance to the forge because it could not find the forge color or something near that. It seems, if I'm not mistaking, has a failsafe that makes it walk around? Dunno. But its a very good script.

but seriously, the question is do you auto safe? Are all 1k bars on 1 character? While the script could easily do it, I would not suggest smelting all 1k on 1 character all at 1 time. Do some then take a break, and continue til they are all gone.

It's not proper to call someones script unsafe because we are breaking rules, and you are the one controlling the use of the script :)

Well to fucking bad? As munk said, we are breaking the rules. And remember, you cant just macro on an account and get it banned the same day or the next. Takes at least 3-4 days before they look at it. So the ban is from another script, that was used on it from before. And I doubt munks scripts are bannable.

i Did get banned 3-4 days later, which is why i knew it was that one, it only takes one report.
