i hear people talking about black marks. how do i get them? what happens if i get them? and how do i check how many i have >=]

Blackmarks are a way Runescape keeps track of how "bad" you have been. Most of the time, 10 blackmarks means you are permanently banned. Various offenses vary in how many blackmarks you get. Offensive langauge (rule 1) is less than one blackmark per offense or so, but you risk getting muted and permamuted. More serious offenses such as item scamming, account stealing, autoing, etc might instantly give you a ban.

In Summary: Blackmarks=bad

you are notified of blackmarks in your message center i believe…

so if you have nothing in your message center you are clean i guess :p

There is a "Appeal Offenses" link on the right side of the main page. Log in to that to check if you have any blackmarks since messages get deleted every 30 days and blackmarks don't.

I have 2 blackmarks one for upgrading armor and one for autoin :D but u dont wana get banned… i did have to apoligise to get my acc back.. :( and i had to wait 3 days… FUCK RS!!!

you can get black marks from AUTOING,SCAMMING,CUSSING, AND SO ON just go to the report abuse form in RS and check it out those all the reasons you can get black marks and yes autoing gives instant BAN it blows -.-
