Who Got You started in scripting? like who made the first script you got addicted to using… for me it was stupid 3000.. i don't know what happened to him but his power miner is what got me hooked…

i dont no how to script :( lol

I was looking for a VEM for ages, i must have searched the whole net for his cause i saw it in srl stats. eventually i learnt that it had been moved to members so i started scripting so i could get it. the funny thing is once i got members, i enjoyed scripting so much that i only ran it a few times, all the other times i have been running my own scripts :p

well i like willowpwner i just started using yesterday and i went from 45-51 wcing it owns:P like the name:)

I've never been hooked by a script. I have always been hooked about the fact that we cheat. But more than all, have I been hooked because of scripting. I love it.

You could say 2 people got me started. I got hooked on scar by stupid3ooo, who 'retired' from cheating afaik … but after that I wanted to use his guildminer but it was heavily outdated so I did what every leecher would do, nag for a guildminer. I got in touch with SB100 and he directed me to SRL-Forums, he told me there was a guildminer by Fakawi there but it was members so I learned scripting to get the script.

The same thing counts for me, once I became member I hardly ever used the script :p

ps. I have my own guildminer now, happy ending :)

well, just get bored on rune, and my friend told me something about this site and
scripting

Reines, I used his scripts in RuneScape Classic summer 2004.. Back then all of his scripts worked like a charm. :sasmokin:

Also, he kinda… ..invited me to cheating "scene"? :D

someones auto alcher cant remember whos :( but that got me hooked on autoing :D

same for me, i first used stupid3000, not anymore though, if you go to his site its only advertisements.:fiery:

Whatever that old private server client was… 'A….'. Since it didn't work when I found it, I searched around and found moparscape, which led me to SCAR & SRL.

• Stupid3ooo 's Guildminer taught me that scripting is a lot of fun
• Mutant Squirrle got me interested in Include writing.
• RsN talked me into taking over SI.
• Kaitnieks showed me how to run a forum.

I first used a willow chopper by Jad. Seeing that cursor move by its self amazed me, and i wanted to learn to do it. Now I'm a pretty decent scripter (Even if i haven't released a script public yet, although i intend to soon.) and hope to get into srl members soon. Jad got me into scripting and Timer150 made me want to get member because that fux0r got in without me.

What first got me into scripting.. Hmm I think it was .. I was mad at scripts that didnt work so i created my own.. I have successed well..

Reading tutorials looking at other people work.. and some help of other people i guess..

i remember using stupid 3000's power miner first
then i also used some of Starblaster100's old scripts
i remember when autoing was easier to get away with, and scripts were everywere

My friend posted me a very simple Alch bot, then i started to get more interested in it

No one really got me into it, I guess. I was just messing around one day and saw someone's thread on tainted-ones about a bronze arrow dupe. I read down the thread, and saw a post where someone said they "were already writing up a small SCAR script" for it. Googled for SCAR, and I think I eventually found Mopars. That's what got me hooked on scripting, and later on I found SRL.

Realistically, discovering SCAR was probably one of the most important decisions of my life. If it wasn't for SCAR, I probably wouldn't have ever gotten into programming like I did :)

I just love doing nothing but actually get something out of it.. =p

yes yes i think we can all agree at some point but i still say stupid3000 was one of the greats!!!!!!!

i'm not really sure, because i got a really good script, but then started searching for more that do the same thing, and found exact same scripts but different names that people put.

I found SRL from Sythe (which I found from Google), and then I first started with some autocutters, but I couldn't find any that worked well, and I was ready to just quit. Then pwnaz0r's autominer kept me from doing that. It worked pretty well, and then I tested my patience becoming a Jr. Member :p.
