Well I'm almost at 55 mage, plus I have thousands of steel plates. After I high alch those, what should I go after that's F2P?

Assuming I get to 99 smithing, should I keep high-alching steel plates or move to rune mediums, or something else that's smithable?

Post your opinions here…

Steel plates are very good especially if you make them by yourself!

I like doing green dhide bodies, used to be better then mage longs for profit until green dhide price went up..

when you get to 78 smithing and above - consider addy square plates. They are the highest price for a two bar product and a little better than the best 3 bar product (per bar that is).

Depends how much money do you have, magic longs, and green bodys are good:)(cheapest)

ummm idk what ppl here are talking about, but as far as i know steel plates are NOT good for high alching. 10 coals @ 200 ea + 5 iron @ 100 ea (if you buy them or were going to sell them) = 2500 gp. If you buy the bars thats 600*5= 3000 which is even worse, so overall high alching steel plates is a losing proposition.
