Please write down a paragraph about Yourself.

I have been surfing the forums for a while now, and at first i just observed, and in fact, i am sad to say i was a lecher, but then i became more interested in scripting and decided to start, so i brought up some tuts and learn how to power cut, this is only the second version that i have made, but i am in the process of updating it. And also, looking into making a bow stringer, as soon as i come out with an update for my power cutter.

Me and Lorax said it was too simple.. :| Sorry, holding vote, will prolly be on the No side.

Smartzkid

Far too simple. Learn some advanced objectfinding, failsafes, etc, etc.

MMouse(x,y,0,0);

Random x and y are there for a reason lol. Voted no

Sorry, But Like Hy said.. Way Too Simple…

Also?
//This is my frist script, so please post proggies an such.

We want experienced scripters… no offence…

//Special thanks to RogerUK, hairy duncan2,
and King of Knives for
helping me with getting the script running.
And richk1693 for his antirandom.

We want an example of what you can do.. not what you can do with others help.. :)

also in you cut procedure…

you "tecnickly" have an infinite loop…

and standards…? 2 spaces for every begin / repeat
minus 2 spaces for every end; / end. / until()

sorry, but no… I'll be looking forward to what you come up with next time ( in 1 month )

I would have voted yes, if you would have used the account name "ramrocks" :)

J/K, but please make sure you only use this account, and not the other 3 associated with your IP Address.

I think it's too simple…I don't think you ever actually used the anti-random procedures in your script and auto-colour would be nice…It's just way too short and too simple.

Multiplayer? and where is the credit for WT-Fakawi it seem eaten by you for using the findfastrandoms function, so coming next time

if(FindColorSpiralTolerance(x,y,TreeColor,MSX1,MSY1,MSX2,MSY2,5)) then
begin
MMouse(x,y,0,0);
Wait(250+random(50));
Mouse(x,y,0,0,true);
Wait(500 + random(250));
AntiRandoms;
Wait(WaitTime +(random(500)))
end;

Why are you moving the mouse to the color just to wait then click? Won't you at least check to see if that is even a tree?

"used to be a lecher"… it's leacher, not lecher.

Indentions on there make me mad, I don't feel like reading code that didn't even get put into a format that is easy for me to read.

Bottom line, the members section is not for people who are saying "hey I want to be a member because free scripts suck." It is for people who want to code, know how to code, and who want to improve their coding ability. I should probably say 'scripting'. Either way this was way too simple, even for a free script in my opinion. Tutorial section is always available, if you aspire to be an srl member I suggest you take a look in there.

no.

to simpel

come back when you made a awesome script with all things you need.

Negaal

2007-10-27 07:23:44

Too simple, and use at least findobj(or add IsUpText('hop') after findcolortolerance) anyways reason are mentioned above…no

edit: at least you didnt applyed with an autotalker… keep trying and learning

I think scripting using SRL is using others help.. Also you SHOULD give credit for help recieved..

Also you said that "we want experienced scripters".. Someone's first script can be good too, you know…

That's a nice start, but I doubt its enough for SRL membership.. I dont think my vote is really necessary in this case.

rogeruk

Exactly, this is a community which lives on people helping each other. If a person needs someone else to help them along for them to learn to script on their own then so be it. Maybe its not SRL quality, but its definaltly scripting quality.

We want experienced scripters… no offence…

Thank god your not incharge of application handling. We'd have no scripters.

Wow some really advanced scripting techniques there.
I admire your "InfinitySquarerooter" it really works well defeating THE LAWS OF TIME, PHYSICS AND GENERALLY EVERYTHING.

highlighting this thread achieves nothing. nothing.

j/k. And i'm sorry but no. Too simple. With no purpose to be simple. Sorry.

Its an ok attempt, but you still have more to learn.
Read the feedback given above, and implment some of their ideas into your script.
This is just basically a color finder and clicker.
Try learning about Bitmaps/DTMs/ and other techniques to make your script more accurate and advanced.
Good Attempt
