SRL Archive - First Scripts

Hey guy i only started to learn SCAR last nigh woke up this morning and i decided to write a simple auto talker, i hers that its a good script to work on as an exersise when you first start scripting.

Wow i wrote my 1st simple auto talker script in scar and you asking me if i copied it!

How many other ways are there to actually write a autotalker? with scar? I must admit though my script does kind of look like that one, but thats just because we used the same functions. Infact "TypeSend" is the only function i know to send text to the rs window…

Im not talking about the functions used. Im talking about the layout in which the script is done,

This aint useless!! it can be used for merchanting so you dont have to type over and over again!

But it has nothing to with merchanting? Does it detect trades? no, Its an autotalker.

People who copy aren't welcome, if that was what you did. Read some tuts and make a more useful script next time :D

King of knives you are a 1st class twerp, i wrote my 1st ever script today from following peoples tuts. if you havent got any thing good to say just dont say it.

y doesnt everyone just calm down…its alittle autotalker…it isnt like he copied someones insanely good script…an autotalker is really simple and he could have just by accident or surprise had the similar layout and spacing(standards :duh:) as the other one…dont blame him for something so simple…geez…could use case statments to randomize the order in which the sentences are typed

Something that simple can be made many times over and still be very similar to eachother. There are quite a few differences for a script that small.
Why don't we give him the benifit of the doubt?

Nice first try, i used it to make my own first script, spied on you ;)
Now i have managed to get my for-loops working. You should try it, and will get more positive reactions :p
