Like if I wanted to create a C++ library, would I which would I select? I would usually know, but the names are kinda obscure to me…

• CLR con app
• Windows Form app
• emptyproj (If its this, please supply base .DLL code…)
• Win32 proj
• Win32 con app
• Makefile

I'm guessing class library. Right? If its not that… please say.

A library? as in a static library or a .DLL file? For a DLL, there is no default template so make an empty project and then add a DllMain function (Look up the documentation on msdn.com). Depending on what compiler you are using you need to change the compile settings so it compiles as a dll.

Ahh, ok I searched and got it. I'm using VC++ from Microsoft, so it had an option under Win32 console app.
