"1.If hydrogen fuel was made possible, would you use it?
A. Yes
B. No"

A - Considering it was REALLY made possible, I'm talking about when it's a reality, and by that I mean, everyone can use this resource apposed to what would happen if everyone used ethanol or some strange alternative resource, it's just not happening unless it's widely available to atleast everyone who uses the current resources.

'2.Do you know what hydrogen is? What?
A. Yes, it is a gas and compound.
B. Yes, it is an element.
C. NO!"

A, B, More… - I know what Hydrogen is, Hydrogen is the most abundant element found in the universe. Now, it is only usable for fuel in it's gaseous form which on EARTH is not common but still abundant in H20 (Water). The best known way to separate Hydrogen and Oxygen out of the compound water is with a method called electrolysis, which is basically running electricity in water which forms bubbles of oxygen and hydrogen. HOWEVER, this conversion process produces 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen atom per a water molecule, now I know the H2 is good and we can use that for fuel (this is also a fairly expensive process, meaning the energy required to obtain the hydrogen is greater than the energy produced from burning it) but the extra oxygen isn't much different from having too much Carbon in our air. To put this into prospective, our atmosphere is composed mainly of Nitrogen (70% or something?) ANY unbalance is not good and it's is a very common misconception than too much Oxygen is a good thing, just the opposite, having to much Oxygen is WORSE than having to much Carbon, considering excess Oxygen can cause things to set on fire. Now I'm not much of an expert on any of this, but I would suggest to anyone to research further on this topic before suggesting or deciding any opinions, and to save you from further reading my horrible grammar I know I'm using right now.

"3.How much money would you be willing to pay for hydrogen fuel, assuming it is as it is cracked up to be? (U.S. CURRENCY!)
A. 50-80 cents
B. 81 - 130 cents
C. 131 - 180 cents
D. More than current gas prices.
E. Around current gas prices."

D - I would say I would LIKE to pay around current gas prices or cheaper, but this is not exactly something I am sure about just yet so we will leave it at that.

'4. Choose the greatest risk associated with hydrogen fuel.
A. Freezing during Winter
B. Evaporation
C. Explosions
D. None of the above"

C & D - I believe the greatest risk is like I stated above (to much Oxygen in the atmosphere). Regarding Explosions, Hydrogen needs lots of Oxygen to burn and is the least dense gas there is so it does quickly disappear in to the atmosphere reducing some explosions greatly, it couldn't be much different than explosions we already have at risk, but then again I am no expert and I can only suggest that you research more about this.

"5.If there is a better fuel source (listed…) then which do you think it would be?
A. Fossil Fuels
B. Solar Power
C. Nuclear
D. Wind"

A-D + More - I believe that ALL resources should be used perhaps in combination with each other such as using Nuclear or Solar power to power electrolysis. AGAIN, research on your own -.-

"6. Would the energy source you chose be more or less costly? How much? (Relative to Hydrogen, U.S. Currency)
A.1-50 Cents Less
B.1-50 Cents More
C. 51-100 Cents Less
D. 51-100 Cents More
E. 100+ Less
F. 100+ More"

I really don't know, that and even if I did, read # 5 -.-

"7. Would that energy source contribute to pollution?
A. Yes
B. No"

A - Yes, all resources will contribute to pollution. If you are referring to hydrogen, Oxygen is the pollution.

"8. How much more or less convenient do you think hydrogen would be, relative to fossil fuels?
A. About the same
B. A little less
C. More convenient
D. Very Convenient
E. Very Inconvenient"

E - I think there just might be something special about Hydrogen that is worth giving a shot, what it is, I'm not sure exactly, but I have a overall good feeling about it :).

I agree w/ you completely Ice…Fire…908. Do you want to be called Ice or Fire? or 908? For a nickname? (I'm editing into this post, it's just going to take a bit.)

Edit1: Actually, I take that back. This survey I wrote is just too bad.

Well, this is closed but…
Anyone who thought hydrogen would be a good idea is…
WRONG.
Hydrogen would never be used because it is just like making yourself a bomb for a terrorist.
And the tobacco company.

Hoorah, the perfect fuel.
The one FREE of all pollutants
The miracle fuel!
The one that would blow you up if you lit a match!

1.If hydrogen fuel was made possible, would you use it?

A. - Yeah, but what would we use as gas tanks? It'd float away! Also, I think burning hydrogen would be fun…

2.Do you know what hydrogen is? What?

B. - Hydrogen is an element, and a gas, but NOT A COMPOUND. A compound is technically more than one element.

3.How much money would you be willing to pay for hydrogen fuel, assuming it is as it is cracked up to be? (U.S. CURRENCY!)

B. - If its more than this, I think we should look elsewhere. I would constantly be running to the station to buy more stuff to burn.

4. Choose the greatest risk associated with hydrogen fuel.

C, D. - Well, it does burn… But its flame is so white you can't see it. But you would probably need to be fairly stupid to put it in a confined space though…

5.If there is a better fuel source (listed…) then which do you think it would be?

B, C. - Uhhh…. Guess?

6. Would the energy source you chose be more or less costly? How much? (Relative to Hydrogen, U.S. Currency)

E, F. - I like guessing

7. Would that energy source contribute to pollution?

A, B. Pending on how its made.

8. How much more or less convenient do you think hydrogen would be, relative to fossil fuels?

C. - Easy to refill, not much chance of… ZZZzzzZzzZZzzz.

[are any of the choices a contribute to pollution other that fossils fuels]

8. How much more or less convenient do you think hydrogen would be, relative to fossil fuels?

[take time to get the technology advanced enough to get the same Km/L (kilometer per liter)]

Gasoline is more flammable than Hydrogen in the sense that gasoline is more dense than our atmosphere and will build in a puddle keeping all the fuel near the fire apposed to Hydrogen which will fly off high into the air because of its lightness. I'm not exactly sure where you're basing your facts from, but it probably isn't research…

Gasoline is more flammable than Hydrogen in the sense that gasoline is more dense
What they're trying to do now is find a way to increase the density of hydrogen for the purpose of fuel.
Gasoline isn't hard to contain.
Hydrogen, on the other hand…=O Hindenburg.

If you've ever read about the Hindenburg then you would know it wasn't hydrogen that was the problem, it was the faulty paint job as proved in various researches and tests.

Yea theoretically the hydrogen would have exploded nearly instantly if it had been ignited in the beginning. Supposably it was some chemical they used on the outside that relates to jet fuel in some way. I think i remember watching that on the discovery channel.
