I just had this lil idea about shout boxes, that there could be a "new section" called "The Lounge", which would include few shout boxes, one about scripts, where people could shout like "omg this fire maker owns", one for general chat like "wazzup ppl, w00t first shout" etc, and some others if anyone has good ideas.

Now, Im just waiting for the flames of "Shoutboxes fill with spam", well thats the friken idea in not putting it to front page.

could be funny, man i want a spam shout box!!!pl0x!

It sounds like a good idea :) Only thing is that mods can't remove Spam and stuff, and stuff like buying / selling.. :rolleyes:

they could make a spam filter like if i say om my *** ;)

maybe if you filter like herm said but filter out all words like 'selling' 'sell' 'buy' 'buying' 'gp' 'money' 'how much?' 'sale'

Only for members doesnt sound bad, more motivation to learn scripting for people.

And about buying and selling ofcourse there could be "ShoutBox Moderators" which wouldnt ban or anything, just watch the chat and if marketting comes, they could say "na-a", and I think SRL Members are trustworthy enough so that they wouldnt start a market against the rules.

Shoutboxes take alot of bandwidth =( But sounds good anyho!

Like wtf, thats why its a shoutbox, nothing that increases PC ffs.

Irc doesn't increase PC either, but the difference is I don't have to look at it :p

@n3ss3s: Well firefox uses more CPU power then the average IRC client, so that's not a good excuse.

The problem is that hardly any people know that there even is an IRC channel, and even if they do, most of them don't even know how to join lol.

Hell yea plus the bugs, for me it says username and email have to be same and then an example "Username: Foo would be [email]Foo@hotmail.com[/email]", and I tried N3ss3s, [email]n3ss3s@hotmail.com[/email] (no, not my real email dont try it.)
