We have script stats for your scripts, it is NOT allowed to make a default user for you scripts aswell.

If a leecher uses a script, and doesn't want to participate in SRL-STATS, he will not let SCAR connect to the internet anyway…

They made a 'user' that holds ALL script stats - not allowed.

Its good but what if some of the leech was smart enough? sorry i'm not try to sabotage

Even if you know it's there its hard enough to get rid of it :p

But the rule has been always there, so it's not new, I'm just pointing you guys at it.

Though I dont know how painful it would be, but couldnt it be so that when you create a Script Stats account - a "Default user", there would be a checkbox "Default user" which when it would be enabled, the account wouldnt go up the rank or anything, just make the Scripts stats raise.

Go ahead and do it, lol :p It would be better for you cause then we know exactly how much your script is being used

N3ss3s has a good idea, if people are worried about not being in the top 10 in stats because of these accounts then we could somehow make the default accounts not be counted in the rankings, but still get time

Guys!

If users just want to abuse the script they will NOT let it connect it to the internet.
If users don't fill in pass, it will not connect, simple.
If some default is in, it only scares them.

As stated by Dankness:

Obviously some leechers let it connect, which is what this whole problem is about isnt it? People not wanting to be out-autoed by an account used by heaps of leechers? If they dont let it connect, then thats fine idc. It's not like I'm forcing them to register an account or anything. This is what we should avoid:

That's not giving the leechers a choice. My way, they can let it connect or not and it doesnt matter. The only issue is with people getting upset because their not above the default account, even though srl stats isnt meant to be a competition (your words i think). If we could get SRL Stats coded so you didnt need an SRL Stats ID and Pass for the script stats to be recorded, then problem solved

lol, you should put in an important part off the script in there like setupSRL;
if a noob deletes the procedure the script won't work anyway =P

As I just stated, it checks those ID's and passes in SCAR for a reason…
The serverload is already very high, we should not extra stress it.

er.. yer you can and yes you cna change your password ask for the password to be sent to your email adress it will generate a new password

yeah but it still will be 2 long :s

This is a good idea, however have it not even increase script stats. You're to obsessed with script stats :p.
I think that if a person set up your stats right they are a great way of feedback. You could log how many times it messed up and how many times it worked.
