So I first noticed this when I closed the lid of my laptop, and went to go get some food, what happens is the image starts to glitch. I didn't know what was causing it so I just left my laptop lid in a state where it still displays the image, but slightly closed. Then I realized, changing hardware acceleration causes the image to glitch, so I assume laptops disable hardware acceleration while the lid is closed to free some system resources. I've found a quick fix, click "Stop Blocking" then "Start Blocking" again.
