SRL Archive - Celebratory Events

Yup, I have finally reached it. 3000 posts. Took me nearly 2 years to get there. Thats average 4-5 posts a day. Looks like I have no life at all. But, au contraire, I have a very busy life. I have a more than full time job: I am a Post-Production Audiotechnician specialised in the field of drama, documentary and broadcast. I have a full time familiy: a wife, two kids (one you all know… ) We live on a boat downtown Amsterdam: maintaining this eats a lot of my time too. We also have a countyhouse in the middle of a forest, where we spend most summer-weekends. Besides that, I compose a lot (I have a degree in Composition) and I am a freelance journalist. Ow, and I do some painting too once and a while.


I just dont sleep much.


I will gradually become more and more inactive, as serious matters demand my full attention. This does not mean I will disappear, dont worry, but since there is so much Talent on board and SCAR is now fully developed, it doesnt need me nurturing as much as I used to. Besides, the ethical/moral boundaries of this board are firmly imprinted upon its visitors, and will be passed on to next generation of Talents. I will continue to forfill my responsibilities as General Manager of SRL, so read my words carefully, I am not leaving, I am just taking one step back.

Well I guess what everyone is trying to say is THANKS!… You have probably hear this a million times but one of the reasons I came to scar and Srl was because this is where the famous WT-Fakawi was located. Its nice to see the man who brought it all together :D
