Hello everybody.
Last saturday I woke up at 4am and after that we drove about 500 km to north to buy a new bike. :) The whole journey was about 1100 km and it took pretty many hours (we left at 6am and got back 10pm…). The bike I bought was Kawasaki KDX 125 and it cost me 700 euros (pretty cheap), but it looks very bad. Last owner haven't done anything to it, he was just riding it, not taking care of it.
Well anyways, I'm going to make this bike look cool. First I will dissemble it and then I'm going to paint the frame. I also have to buy some new parts to it, and it will take about 400 euros. I'm thinking of buying supermoto rims, but it would cost like 700 euros more, so I'm still considering it. :)
I'm gonna keep posting some pictures in this thread, it's kinda like diary about my bike. :)
Let's get this shit started:
6.10.2007
The day I bought it.
Here is the first picture of how it looks like:

As you can see, it's very dirty and kinda ugly. Just look at the amount of oil on top of engine… How can someone even let this happen?
I got back at 10pm so I didn't have any time to start fixing it.
7.10.2007
Repairing & cleaning begins.
Today I decided to clean the bike first… It took some chemicals and rubbing, but it was worth of it as you can see here
Before:

After:

Look at the amount of dirt & oil that is gone, you can actually see the engine! :D
After I washed it I started dissembling it for painting, it took rest of my day and here you can see the results:

Didn't have much time so I only cleaned the engine. But now it looks good and clean, so much nicer to change piston and stuff when needed to. :)
Here is the picture of clean engine:

Next things to do:
-Continue dissembling
-Clean the engine…
-Sandpaper the frame
-Buy some parts & paint
-Paint it.
