Please write down a paragraph about Yourself.

Hi, I started to know about Scar ans Srl november 2006(almost 1 year). Started with simple scripts such as willow cutter from ChArMz and power cutters. Then I started working on a East Varrok yew cutter since now 8 months or so. I am able to run it for 24 hours and + with 8-10 players.
I have enought experience in Scar and SRL scripting to create my own scripts and to improve other's scripts.

——————————————————
Please Post a Sample of your Work. Only SCAR Scripts Accepted

This script is a powercutter and was made in about 30 mins of work. I did this one to train my army of workers so they can work on yews using the script I was talking about earlier which is my East Varrok yew cutter and that I will post on members forums because I really don't feel like getting lvls 3 leechers cutting yews at where I do. This is a very simple script but can be run for a long time and get lvls up.:D

One Question,

''Then I started working on a East Varrok yew cutter since now 8 months or so. I am able to run it for 24 hours and + with 8-10 players.''

Why didn't you post that script? because we want to see what you can. with good examples of you script. The one now,, looks a bit simple. i know you have made it in 30min. but with this script. iam not sure if you can get in. (no offencive)

Nice thread you got there RAM :P
Got me laughing :P

Well, anyways, you should be afraid of posting your 24 hours-running yew cutter script here. We won't steal it, 'cause that's not SRL-Member's style.

In these polls, we vote from what is presented, and you have not presented your yew cutter. We can't know if really exist, nor know how good it really is.

We judge on what is shown, not what is said.

What you ahve posted is a little to easy, you'll have to show me more to get my vote I think.. my vote is pending..

This is a former village clown. He has learned a lot. I think we should give him a change. He has shown a lot of persistence, and has matured a lot really. Frankly I am glad he is still around. So, against all odds,

yes from me.

I aggree with Fawki (not just cause he is cool) but I rember when he was a village clown too, and he seems much better now. Only thing is that a few lillte things are messed up (just ocasionally an end is too far to the right ;) )

Ill vote yes if you can post that other script of yours.
If you dont post the script (not to be mean or anything) im afraid it is a no. If you don't post it, it could be that you are bluffing, witch is a pretty big minus, in my opinion. I would also like to see your best work, not a 30 minute script.

Im holding my vote for now.

i think i remember himdid he request for you to take the village clown of as he thought the mods were taking the p***?

i see this taking one of two routes:

1. He doesnt have the script and makes up bs excuses of how we hate him and are going to steal it from him. He just wants to get free members scripts and has NOT changed.

2. Or he has had a change of heart and actually did make that script, shows it to us and it turns out to be good. If he went throught the effort then we will see that…

Only time will tell….

I'm voting no. The script he showed isn't SRL Members material. His FindTree procedure would barely ever work…

Im voting no because in the ast you always saying crap stuff about peoples script.

Also i agree 100% with gerauchert on option 1 :).

wow i havent voted in a long time how does this go again? oh yea
no from me, sorry, this script is way too short, all i see is findobjects, findcolors, and easy to make dtms. and honestly, people do change but this guy is very immature, i think if he has access to members, when he flys of the handle again, you can pretty much kiss the privacy of members scripts goodbye.

ZephyrsFury

Well its a no from me:
  1. Your standards are really stuffed in some places.
  2. I don't think your FindTree and ChopTreesDown procedures will work well. They will lag a lot. If you want to use FindObj with more than one colour you should use FindObjCustom which searches for an array of colours (Array of tree colours from 1 to 6 in your case). Also with this part:
  3. if(not(findobj(x,y,'ree',treecolor1,tol)))or
    (not(findobj(x,y,'ree',treecolor2,tol)))or
    (not(findobj(x,y,'ree',treecolor3,tol)))or
    (not(findobj(x,y,'ree',treecolor4,tol)))or
    (not(findobj(x,y,'ree',treecolor5,tol)))or
    (not(findobj(x,y,'ree',treecolor6,tol)))then
I think you want to replace the 'or's with 'and's otherwise it just won't work properly.
  4. It doesn't really matter but in your SetupScript procedure, SetupSRL already sets SymbolAccuracy to 0.8 so you don't have to manually set it.

yeap, anyways he should use array in that case, bit simple aswell, w/o testing it's really easy write it with like hour or so, holding vote:) because i have seen hes other scripts aswell, and i think hes very intrested about learning, give him a chance :D

We don't laugh at peoples work. We laugh at peoples jokes, or at jokes of other people :p Like:

Person1: "Why does n3ss3s spam?"
Guesser: "It runs in the family?"
Person1: "Who the fuck knows?!"
Guesser: "Is his son R0b0t1 or something?"
Person1: "Probably"
Guesser: "This isn't funny at all, Person1 !"

Person1 and Guesser are now getting tortured in a basement deep in the mystical and dangerous land of Finland. Only enter with a Anti-Spam-Shield :D

Anyway, good luck on your next application. I'll be waiting for the Yew Cutter(s) :D

PS: Now I think of it, I never actually voted. I'll leave it that way to your benefit.
