SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

First off, I want to express how much good nething has done for this community for updating BotCatcher to SRL 4 in the first pleace. He never made a topic on it, so I decided to make it- If for some reason you want it removed, please tell me :)

How to use:
Posistion your players at a spot with a LOT of macroers that are level 3 and stuff. It will auto report them, and auto switch worlds.

Use on a newbie player, or a player you wouldn't mind being banned- IDK if JagSex will ban you if you use an auto bot reporter :D

It still has some, it isn't finding all the names, it finds 23 players and reports 1 and keeps clicking them and not recording names, I think.

When it right clicks, it will add them tot he 'repot list', once it waits ~60 seconds, it will report.

I did not get permission, but it was an origional script form user 'SRL' (and the owner of that never logs on) sooo.. I just posted it here.

Updated: An error I made had it send too many 'Bots Banned' to stats server.

Nice. No I don't mind if you put it here but I'm not sure if SRL will (they never updated it anyway so that post is pretty much useless). And yes use on a low level character as Jagex will probably come up with some bullshit reason to ban you. Example: I got banned yesterday. Here is a few screenies.


*sigh* my signature is getting really long now. That account ^ was level 4 straight off Tut Island so not a big loss.

EDIT: Also, since you have to use this on signed here is a little tip:
Make sure you delete the random.dat. It is located at c:\WINDOWS\.jagex_cache_32\random.dat
If you don't know how to get there ^ then do this:
open notepad,
type in:
del c:\WINDOWS\.jagex_cache_32\random.dat
del c:\WINNT\.jagex_cache_32\random.dat

and hit save, save it as Delete Random.bat and change save as type to all files.
Now open that in wherever you saved it and it will automatically delete the random.dat

Yup Jaghex is very gay at times; they banned one of my accounts called 'Reoprt Autos' (which i ran botcatcher on ;) ) and I got banned in ~3 days for Offensive Language x) Oh well, it is their game. No one is running this atm, can an Admin/Mod move this to Free Scripts section please?

I ran nething's version for a while. Reported over 200 bots!! Hoping to get Pmod on this lvl 3 woodcutter lol.

Lol…Don't think you will get mod. Probably just perm. banned. Hy Did you see my sig? Is it allright like that?

Also is the whole 4 hrs of stats mine? :confused: thats how long I have ran it today so it might be. Not sure.

Is it just me or is it not registering Logs? It has registered 2 but my entire stats sig is with this script (all 1000 minutes) and it only shows 2 logs.

EDIT: hmmm just checked script stats and it doesn't show logs there either. I'm not sure how to fix that or what is wrong. You got any idea Hy?

Logs is weird, doesn't seem to log either x) oh well.

Just so you know SRL is an account that all devs have access to. Its not used very often - only to post SRL-Related stuff (BotCatcher, new versions of SRL, etc.). I'll see what I can do to help you with your problems.

EDIT: With your problem with Logs, maybe its because you aren't using NextPlayer. Everytime NextPlayer is called, it increments SRL_Logs by one. So if you aren't using NextPlayer, your logs will remain the same.

Also I've found a little problem with your ReportBot procedure:

That's fine if you are going to keep it updated. Nobody was updating it and I thought it was a nice script so I updated it myself and posted an updated version so that people could use it. I am in no way taking credit for making the script. If you or Fawki want to update it yourselves and fix the old post and delete this one then go ahead. But if you are going to do that please keep it updated because it is no use to anyone if it doesn't work.

EDIT: Since you have to use this script on the signed client I am going to attach My "Random.dat Deleter" batch file. For those who don't know what batch files are what it will do is look for the random.dat and if it is there it will delete it. I made this a while ago and have been using it. I don't have/don't know how to use visual basic or anything like that so I just have this batch file. It has always worked fine for me. Hopefully it will help some people or at least make it easier.

It's not really our idea. This was originally posted in the Junior Member Utilities section. It was old and no longer worked. I updated the script and then Hy decided to make a new thread and try to get this script going again. It was originally created by SRL (Account admins use for SRL releases).

I ran this and it worked great. Except once or twice i was in a world filled with bots by port sarim, it reported one and left. Also everyone in a while the report abuse window wont open the first time its opened so itll just type the names in chat. By the way A great place to run this is to the right of the bar at port sarim between the building and the wall with draynor. Lots of wood cutters there.

It is supposed to log out everyonce and a while. Then on the next world it will report. It adds the bots usernames to a 'to-do-list' it will log then report later ;)

We are up to 6 1/2 hours :0 lol. Hy you should check out my edited First Script in the First Script section.

It was on for 8 hours but started doing that. There were about 1000 lines of three minutes have passed.

if Talking then is the same as if Talking = True then. Similarly if not Talking then is the same as if Talking = False then. So you need to add the begin and the end if you want it to do what its supposed to do. :)
