The Commands That Created SCAR?

Hey,
Some of you guys may know, but I have been talking to Wizzup? lately about both improving SCAR and making my own version of the client. He has tried to help me out, but we are not on the same page regarding the commands.

Wizzup? was under the impression (don't know if he still is) that the commands in the SRL library were real Pascal commands. Well there are not real commands, but more like modifications of existing Pascal commands.

For Example:
FindColor(Color, X, Y: Integer); (Not the best with the SRL Library. Hopefully that is it)
- Is a similar version to the Pascal command -
Integer = GetPixel(handle, X, Y)

Now I am sure the FindColor command is far more advanced as far as formula's go, but it was probably still created from the GetPixel command.

Now for my actual questions:
1> What real Pascal commands / Delphi commands were used to create SCAR?
2> Who would I talk to in order to find out these commands?
3> Can anyone put in a good word to this person so I can talk to them right away?

Wizzup? finds me rather talented as far as programming, but he doesn't have all the answers I need. Also he is not online in MSN Messenger very often :p

Thanks for the help guys,
The Lone Programmer

FindColor is a scar function.

For the questions about scar itself you should probably talk to kaitnieks. I dunno how to contact him, but someone else could probably help you there.

As far as i know scar was created in delphi. You could probably come close to making your own semi scar if you go to cruels.net and get delphi sources. You will probably never get dtms etc going. But there are many sources such as findcolor, findbitmap, getclient etc

http://remobjects.com/page.asp?id={9A30A672-62C8-4131-BA89-EEBBE7E302E6} :), this is the base that kaitnieks used, of course alot of functions that make scar considered a 'color clicker' were coded in delphi and imported by kait himself.

EDIT: now that i think of it re-codeing SRL into a open source application using the pascal script engine might be an intresting project :).

I've worked on SCAR-like functions extensively. It actually doesn't use GetPixel, but GetDIBits rather. Well.. that's technically what it is, but it could also be the encapsulated GetDIBits usage you can get from the TBitmap's Scanline method.

Check out my site perhaps…
And here are a few links of st00f:
FindBitmapMask: http://cruels.net/post-12141.html#12141
Basic FindColorSpiral (VB): http://cruels.net/thread-176.html
FindColorSpiralTolerance (with GetPixel :(): http://cruels.net/thread-1302.html

There are tons there… most in the VB section however. And most using GetPixels :(… but those can be adjusted to GetDIBits for the speed.
Also check out sources that Freddy has (most of it based off my work ;)):

CruelLib is the library I made [not complete] that has many of the SCAR-like functions I've made…. so programmers can use them in their apps. I have some cool things I want to update it with, but that'll have to wait a bit while I finish some other work.
