Is there ANY way that rs could whipe out ALL macros and by that i meen RSDemon and Scar and others but if they did what would happend to the game?
and thats if they CAN whipe us/others out

Ye or something like that if they hire a hacker… lol or if they re-write the game every month and change stuff that will make the game un-cheateble :D

Edit: i know that re-writing the game isnt easy but if they find anyway to make all macros fucked up :D

They could change all the pixels by 1 or 2 everytime you log in, or encounter a loading screen. That would fuck srl around abit. Just make it a bit harder.

I bet they could. Maybe not people that use scar intelligently, but they could definitly kill all the LVL 3 autoers, although they would just make new ones. Maybe make everything one color? lol

There is basically no way they could stop scar from working.

Except making runescape a full blown 3D game such as WoW.
Then there would be too many colours.

We play Cat and Mouse. They are the Cat, we are the Mice. As long as we stay observant, and react quickly on changes we can survive. With the new Scar this is now possible. So thats positive. We are lucky to be with many. See for yourself how succesfull we are in terms of longivity of Players and macroed script time. Besides, I believe macroing is in Jagex greatest interest for reasons I wont elaborate any further except: Economy, Popularity on Servers, and a stupid Macro Detection System.

So, we play hide and seek. We are quite good in it actually. In a way the blatent obvious lvl-3 macroers work to our advantage. They distract attention away from us so we can operate.

Jagex can only kill us if they completely change the way runescape looks and feels. They wont do that. Never change a winning team. They will never introduce new fonts for example, because they are an instrinsic part of the runescape look. People attach themselves to an interface, and generally dont like changes. Thats to our advantage too.

I like to think of it more like an arms race but the cat and mouse analogy is good too ^.^

The Java Bots are a lot easier to wipe out than SCAR, for example when solar had xKYAB updater going on great, then they made an update, all 110+ hooks broke.

My opinion, is that the less automated stuff, the better it works.

Like, think of SRL SC#2, limited procedures which made people have to do more stuff in one procedure, when normally it would be split up to smaller pieces, when the controlling is easier.

I think I am somewhat right, and ofcourse SCAR works stable also because it doesnt depend on anything.

It doesnt depend of can it connect somebodys server, it doesnt depend of has jagex uber obshizzled the patterns, I think it could be compared to a country, which produces everything itself, it doesnt need to buy anything from other countries.

It's easy, if they change obfuscation and the interface every week, I'm sure all bots die :p

And if they switch the interface/layout/menus every week too, well then scar is screwed :p

Yeah but that will take all their energy why not buy a automatic banning system? like PunkBuster that works for bigger games like WoW and it should work on rs… but if they use that ALL codes are fuckd

Jagex does have a a (very advanced) auto bannage system. Make one mistake and you'll be banned.
Use one crappy script and you'll be banned. Get reported and you'll be banned.
They monitor mousemovements, compass angles, talking, almost all stuff a legit player does (change) and a macroer doesn't.
In fact, if you're banned it's done fully automatic, no humans involved.

Nothing short of assigning a watcher with a taser to every player could get rid of ALL autoing. They'll keep trying to catch as many as they can though coz it makes them look good.

Well even though im a chicken (sighs) and i guess my opinion doesnt matter too much i don't think they will ever stop cheating in runescape. Ok they might be able to stop scar ill give them out but it just takes one supernerd no offense to u supernerds cause u help me out alot. And he will come out with a completely different program a better program. Humans always find a way to overcome things, to cheat, to get around having to do work its just our nature. And if all the autoers were gone the economy would go to shit in rs lol. But one question i have wondered and i know it has probably been asked and answered before is Does jagex know about this site????
do they get on here and read this shit cause they could have an undercover member here just taking in all this information and when they get ahold of scripts they could find ways to stop them.

no they cant wipe out 'all' macros… People will still sit by comp and watch TV while macroing…

I doubt it, even if they make a flawless detection system im sure all scripters around the world will overcome it and invent a new method. Autoers are just to determined
