i found a site which looks exactly like runescape but is a scam (its ovious)

how do u think they got the code to copy the runescape site?

ive seen some autoer saying something about this… but its a fake for sure.

I dunno but they might wanna try fixing those broken links of their..

right click > View Code > copy > paste > save as html > open

Kinda easy to get the source code all you do in FireFox is right click view source code then copy paste it into there Domain exchange hingy also they have only got to change the little bit of writing in the part I'll show you.

Ok well the RS source code is protected and not very easy to get but if you look around you'll find it.

These people are very good with PHP and HTML So whateve you do don't try to login in. :-)

The BETA sign is actually from Jagex, i think it was from the german version.

yea well agreed, I've seen many people spaming phishers on rs in worlds 1-10 about rs3 BETA's, I always report em.

TBH these sites are hella common. And easy to make. The source is posted on a number of forums. Very good phishing. And you make alot of (dirty) money from it

I used to phish…all I got was a lvl 9 that never bothered to steal…lol.

Aww… this site has been around for a long time, but in the mean time i recommend that if you even entered a false name and password to check your comp for trojans.
I'm not sure if this site does it, but on other sites once you insert the username and password, a screen will pop up telling you to click "ok"
(or something similar) to confirm you entered the correct details. By clicking the false "ok" button, you can actually download a trojan.

pretty clever eh? that way they can steal the main accounts of people who type in false or noob low lvl account passwords.
So be careful even if you enter a false username and password.

I'm pretty sure address bar spoofing isn't possible. Done some research into it. It is possible if you're running internet explorer, but not firefox.
