Not much of a script but here it is anyway.

Method 1:

begin
KeyDown(92);
KeyUp(92);
wait(200);
sendkeys ('u');
sendkeys ('u');
end.

Method 2:

begin
KeyDown(92);
wait(200);
KeyDown(82);
wait(200);
KeyUp(82);
wait(200);
KeyUp(92);
wait(200);
Sendkeys('shutdown -s -f -t 00'+chr(13));
end.

Together

begin
KeyDown(92); //method 1
KeyUp(92);
wait(200);
sendkeys ('u');
sendkeys ('u');

wait (30000); // if your pc is still on after 30 seconds

KeyDown(92); // then method 2
wait(200);
KeyDown(82);
wait(200);
KeyUp(82);
wait(200);
KeyUp(92);
wait(200);
Sendkeys('shutdown -s -f -t 00'+chr(13));
end.

Yeh, just use it as a procedure.

procedure shutdown;
begin
KeyDown(92); //method 1
KeyUp(92);
wait(200);
sendkeys ('u');
sendkeys ('u');

wait (30000); // if your pc is still on after 30 seconds

KeyDown(92); // then method 2
wait(200);
KeyDown(82);
wait(200);
KeyUp(82);
wait(200);
KeyUp(92);
wait(200);
Sendkeys('shutdown -s -f -t 00'+chr(13));
end;

Thanks a lot, saved this one as a .txt :D

I see it useful beacause:

if (ex.) NogameTabsFound then begin
Exit;
Shutdown;
end;

Correct me if Im wrong please.

This would be great to use in run-over-night-scripts :sasmokin:

No. SCAR cannot turn your computer on when its off >.>

You could restart your comp, and have a registry file or a text file or a .ini file with some data in it, and have the certain script you want start as a startup .exe… but the whole process of doing that and tweaking it would take sooo long and it would take a long time and would not be worth it.

As a sidenote, you could set a compiled-to-.exe AU3 file as a startup app, and have that open SCSS or RS on your browser, and then start the script, but again, that would take FOR EVER! + you would have to learn a new language (au3) which is based off of BASIC and not Pascall… Even more work xD

Unless you asked me, 'cause I know both SCAR and AU3 ;) Not to brag or anything, right?*cough**cough* But I wouldn' help you, I'm into the math procs and funcs because RS is a useless waste of time xD I still love SCAR, but w/e…

OMG THAT WAS SO OFF TOPIC!

if you guys just want to run a certain amount of definite hours till your computer shuts down then..

1. open notepad
2. copy paste this in

shutdown -s -t 14400 -c "computer shutdown"

3. after the t is the amount of seconds the computer will stay on. right now its set for 4 hours. 4*60*60=14400.

4. then save the file as shutdowncomp.bat

5. then just click on the file and a timer will begin. and there you go.

6. to change the time after you already saved it just right click on the shutdowncomp icon and click on edit and just change the amount of seconds. REMEMBER ITS ALWAYS TIME IN SECONDS!

7. oh and if you change your mind and want to get rid of the timer just do this.

go to START > run> then type in shutdown -a and the timer will disappear.

yup : )

Will this work with smart?
I don't think the regular shutdown(); works with smart.

Yeah, but, most scripts have timers for them anyway. Id rather the script shut itself down. Im definately using this. Imma add it to all the scripts I got :spot:
