Does anybody have one that they use that works good for SCAR scripts? solarwind is thinking about making one if their isn't one.

Yes, if there isn't one, I will make one. It will automatically format and beautify code using the SRL standard formatting rules.

I do it manually :rolleyes: lol, if you are too lazy to standerlize when coding the script, you are too lazy to script ;P ^^

I think Hey(number here) made one. But lookout the god status-seeker is back :p.

I use DelFor just google delphi formatter…

I'll make one that's faster, simpler, easier to use and GNU GPL.

The thing is, this would be designed specifically for SCAR scripts.

DelFor works fine for me, but extra options can't hurt.

I wouldn't use it unless it checked my work opposed to edited automatically, kind of like spell check; it would be a good feature to have if you are still considering making one.

That's easy. It could underline possible formatting errors in red or something so you can decide what to do.

@solar… you dont really need to? DelFor does the correct formatting and is finished by the time you let go of the mouse

I'm talking about something that can possibly be integrated with SCAR. So all you'd have to press is something like CTRL+L and your code would be formatted in the blink of an eye.

Err, that's just DelFor. There's no source code available for it so it's hard to integrate it with SCAR.

I'm already half done making it. It's actually quite easy. Integration into SCAR shouldn't be too hard either.

I did not make it, it is called Delfor and is for ALL types of scripts, it just happens to work with scar :P.

What I don't see is why we (us, them, they, me) would need an auto-formatter. You should probably learn to use proper standards so you could program without the formatter, and could read the code you write unmodified.

Trust me… pressing a keyboard shortcut to instantly format your code is quite handy. I couldn't survive without it in Java, so I assume it would be pretty useful for SCAR.

And the GNU GPL is the best software license. It's open source and means anyone can modify the software in any way they want it. It's what most Linux applications use including the kernel itself.

I like the idea, but I have one suggestion.. Make it to do FindColorSpiral, instead of findcolorspiral because I got some weird injury in my hand from pressing shift 24/7 ;)
