Where you Referred to SRL? If yes, by whom?
yes
I found out about the SRL Forums community in the Moparisthebest Forums.

Programming Knowledge
C++, Visual BASIC

Other Communitys
Moparisthebest

How Long have You Played Runescape
2.5 years

Are you affilated in anyway with Jagex LTD?
No
—————————————————–
Please write down a paragraph about Yourself.

I first became interested in Runescape cheating about half a year ago. After being scammed in world 2 yet again (this time an easter egg, which was 8m), I was fed up with playing by the rules. In an attempt to regain some money to continue merchanting, I began to google things on cheating in Runescape. I didn't want to abuse the game, just to get enough money to continue. After learning that there were no "hacks" with cheat engine etc., I decided to direct my searches to autoing. I continued trying many very pathetic scripts for about a week, until deciding none of them worked. I then finally came across Sythe forums, but had an immediate dislike of the unfriendly community. I currently use Moparisthebest and the SRL Forums. I am on the SRL Forums 90% of the time, due to the helping and encouraging community. It would be a pleasure to be able to further contribute to this community.

My experience with programming began about a year ago, when my dad tried to teach me Visual BASIC. However, no real interest in programming came to me until I started C++ in the summer of 2007 (last summer). I was going to a game creation/technology camp. Convinced by my dad, who knew C++ (and no, my dad is not a programmer, he is in finance), I decided to take C++. In fact, I skipped the "Beginner C++" course and went strait to "Advanced C++." It was difficult, but with the help of my dad and friend, I was able to master (sort of) the C++ programming language, in about 2 weeks. I said "sort of" because nobody can completely master C++ with all the includes there are, however I have learned about inheritance, classes, structs, arrays; all that fancy stuff.

Soon after completing my programming camp, I decided to give Scar/SRL a try. I found it to be about the same difficulty as C++, but I stuck to it. Programing in both Scar and C++ soon proved to be an addicting and long lasting hobby of mine. I would stay up to 12:00 programming. Unfortunately, this coding spree ended when school began and, from 9th grade math (Im in 8th grade, but i do 9th grade math) to Language Arts, homework and academics became priority. Currently, I still have time for my love of programming, but only on weekends. I have finished some scripts and am currently working an a C++ script to change SRL 3.8 scripts to SRL 4 scripts! I just recently completed my Swamp Tar Collector, Scar script, which is my first script, not including my function.

By now, I hope you have at least extracted the basics from this essay(sorry about the length). I enjoy programming and and am very knowledgeable on the subject, along with many other things. I may seem like a geek, but I can assure you I have a big social life. I hope I will be receiving your vote for my SRL Membership.

Thank You For Your Consideration.

Regards,
Macrosoft

By: Macrosoft
Description: Will find a color, if the color is not found it will move
to the next color. If it returns 0, it found none of the colors,
otherwise it will return the color number (1,2,3,4,5,6, etc.; not 29849283749, 230920432984, etc.)
It Will also return the x and y coords of the color
I may make more priority Functions such as DoFunctionPriority,
FindObjectPriority, etc.

I know that could be shortened big time with a for loop, but whatever, I was a noob then…

Wow, just by the 'About You' section you deserver to get in :D No one ever writes ones that big.

About your code:
Looks okay to me for the most part,
YES :)

Macrosoft

2007-09-29 20:22:55

omg thanks! That just brightened my day. Thanks for the compliment on the paragraph as well, that took me…a while. Thanks so much for your vote!

R0b0t1

2007-09-29 21:02:16

You should really work on your standards, like CamelCaps or ThisIsAFunction.

I've seen you round the hood, so I guess its 'right hommie.

Macrosoft

2007-09-29 21:08:57

thanks, yeah standard r kinda bad, but i kept them constant, it is the most understandable way for me. I guess it makes it more like c++ for me

I was just talking to some people today about how you were better at scripting than some SRL members. Finally you applied. You should get in for sure.

dang, that makes me feel so happy, I love SRL Forums, you guys are so encouraging and kind.

I wasn't sure whether I should have applied because I just finished my script today, and it is not completely done, but you have helped convince me that i have made the right decision.

Nice scripting.
Nice standards.
Nice person.

Yes from me.

Nice Introduction,
Nice Standards,
Crazy Main Loop ?

Your affiliation with lamatime ?

Macrosoft

2007-09-29 22:37:23

derek-

funny you should say that i had good standards, R0b0t1 said I needed to work on them…

thank you for your vote, I am so glad I applied

Ram

I abandoned lamatime because the name was stupid :P
When I created lamatime, I wasn't serious about Scar, but as I became more interested, I decided to make another account. Sometimes just starting over can be a good thing. I am surprised you found out about lamatime

About the main loop, it just has a bunch of fail safes

vote?

2007-09-30 00:02:16

Haha that main loop just keeps on going…

Looks like a good script! You were one of the people I've been waiting to see apply, yes from me.

Santa_Clause

2007-09-30 00:07:20

God damn, it's a yes just because of the mainloop :p

Your name would also look pretty cool in yellow/orange.

Macrosoft

2007-09-30 00:15:58

thanks both of you, im going to bed now, cuz my moms gunna kill me if i stay up any longer. I never had any idea people were waiting for me to apply…

lol, your right, that main loop is long, I put so many failsafes, and features into that script, it would take a long time to try to figure out what the script actually does.

Oh how nice it is to go to bed with 100% yes. wow, if im going on forever, its because im tired, good night.

Edit:OH man, my main loop is long, dang, i never noticed that before.

Lol well really all I see is that you indent the 'begin' after your 'if' statements.

if This then
begin //instead of

if This then
begin

but I used to do that too so…

n3ss3s

2007-09-30 02:35:07

yes from me, script seems good enough and if it wouldnt, Id anyways give you a yes..

Markus

2007-09-30 02:40:43

I think it's really ugly to indent begins after an if statement…

I vote yes btw

Looks quite good to me, Yes from me.

Macrosoft

2007-09-30 09:11:41

i understand my own code better with the indent, it helps show the grouping of the if statement, for me. But ill work on fixing it.

I've been saving my first vote, until someone who REALLY deserved it applied.

I think that person is you.

Standards: Ok
Scripting: Really nice
Person: Helpful, nice, serious.
Overall Score: YES!

You deserve this.

Waaaaaay too many begins and ends.

   begin
For a:= 0 to HowManyPlayers -1 do
begin
if(PlayerUsed[a]=True) then
writeln('Collected ' + inttostr(TarCollected[a])+' on ' + Players[a].Name)
end;
end;
Function NoneActive: Boolean;
begin
begin
for n:=0 to HowManyPlayers - 1 do
begin
begin
If(Players[n].Active) then
begin
result:=False;
Exit;
end;
end;
n:=n+1;
end;
end;
Result:=True;
end;

Minor problem, I'm still voting yes.

lol, that took me a while, i was so scared and then, yay! I found the yes!

anyone know if the results are normally like this lol? 19 to 0?

Also, about the begins and ends, yeah, i like to make sure the ifs are ended by putting them into a begin and end, lol

Couldn't have put it better myself. Could someone with the power give him the power of members?

The shorter the better:

Function NoneActive: Boolean;
begin
for n:=0 to HowManyPlayers - 1 do
If(Players[n].Active) then
Exit;
Result:=True;
end;

are these votes because of the script, the paragraph, both, or something else?

What else is there. BTW i liked the C++ tut. Read it all. Its prolly b/c of both the paragraph and script, more so your script.

:)That script took me a while

this is why I didn't apply earlier:

From: HyperSecret
i dont think you would get membership with it…

but after like a day, I applied just to see what would happen, I guess that was a good decision :)

BTW, on the C++ tut, I forgot void, it is pretty much nothing. You can use it is a function like:

Void LALA()

then you dont have to do the return thing, but it is good practice to do int main and have it return something. You also normally use int for a main loop, but im not sure, and its like 12 so i probably dont know what iim talking about.

back to Postulates and theorems *mutters "stupid 9th grade math" to to himself*
I have many hours to go before i sleep :(

Im gone for the night, i need to study for a math test and a social studies test y un prueba en espanol (a spanish quiz)
