Greetings.

I was wondering what you guys think is the most undetectable client to auto on. I prefer S.C.S.S (Shit compared to Scar Scape (By freddy1990)) cause of its toolbar up the top.. but is it any better to auto on than ScarScape? or even RuneScape??

BTW: You can get SCSS from the SCAR folder or the SRL folder, i can't remember..

Well ScarScape is a bit more detectable, as there is 0 randomness, so no random UID, compassangle (is send to server).
I use FF as SCSS crashes with Java 6.

scss because of the tool bar on the top it really helps and you can go to world one whenever you want

yeah thats what i like about it, but it seems that most people think that ScarScape is less detectable..

Runescape, i didn't really know about scar scape, but i knew about SCSS, i just didn't trust anything beside Runescape. There is no way runescape client is detectable.

also, anyone know how the other clients work? Like, how can you play runescape, with all the normal people on it, and have the colors not change, and the compass not move? Also, compass not moving at all and always being north, is definately detectable!<-I think?

ScarScape was private, but it has changed back to being public, you can get it here: www.sythe.org/ss.rar

and with SCSS, you just have to press RS > load > world and type in the world you want.

Which one chews up the least resources? I would like to expand my army of woodcutters a bit.

what do you mean by the "least resources"?

I think he means the least CPU usage / least ram. Not sure.

Also I got SCSS to work. Not sure if it was what you said or that I made sure that my firewall was allowing it or not but I got it now :).

EDIT: Sh*t I got it loaded but the screen was messed up (in lower right corner) so I closed it and reopened and now it won't load :mad: I have had it open for 30 mins since I retried and I did the same thing I did earlier but it won't load.

EDIT:EDIT: WTF!!! While I was writing this it started loading… WTF!?!?!?! but the screen is still messed up. I'll edit this in a second with a screenshot.

Yea I meant system resources especially cpu, since each runescape client only chews up around 100 meg each. I know with one of the warcraft bots you could turn off rendering and save alot of system resources ( cpu, ram, and less strain on the graphics card ) . I was hoping one of these had something geared for saving resources and allowing more instances to run.

When ever I try to use SCSS it always says invalid floating point operation. So I just use RS.

To be honest, I usually don't use any clients, but since ScarScape has been made public, I might try that one out, once I can start running bots again. :(

Ehm wtf… I was messing with SCSS a min ago and it was doing same as above. I decided to switch the Java to unsigned (just messing around) so i typed in 2 in set plugin.
When I did that then loaded a world the screen moved up a little. I decided to mess with it some more so I put 4 in for the plugin (not real but I was just messing with it and trying things) and obviously it didn't load anything (4 isn't one of the Java Settings).
So I put in 0 again (signed) and loaded a world and it was in the right place!
So then I decided to see if I had some how fixed it so I closed SCSS and reopened it.
Same thing happened as above -.- I tried doing what I did before and it didn't work.

If someone has any idea how to fix this it would be nice :). Ty to anyone who tries.

basically, SS is much better as dolours don't change, compass is perfect north, does not change direction thru login, updates automatically, and does not create uid.dat (if you dont know what uid.dat is: http://www.srl-forums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=260469&postcount=36

SCSS toolbar is depreciated. Doesn't work with java 6. Handle is not needed and there is a built in world changer in the RS client now (which is better as it lists the player numbers). Use ScarScape.

I thought the Runescape client doesn't create uid.dat either .. cuz it creates random.dat :)

To keep it on topic (even tho it's a gravedig :p) .. I use the Runescape client unsigned .. I figure I won't push my luck any more than I already am.

i use Scarscape, but i might change to unsigned rs client if the "camera angle" really is sent to jagex.

ScarScape doesn't seem as popular anymore since it went private. That was probably the worst thing Sythe could do to it if he were to make it public afterwards.

Also, I have the same problem nething has, with the offset problem in SCSS.

I jus auto on runescape client lol..

Lol I agree, but the only problem with SS is that the big updates break it and we have to wait for sythe to fix it.

I'm using Firefox. :)

IE = SUCKS
Opera = SUCKS
Safari = SUCKS
Netscape = SUCKS

I've used SCSS and scripted on it. Has worked fine.

SS would be easy to script on but always north compass etc.

Too easy to script and can be a bit suspicious in my opinion.

Is SCSS dead? If not, where can I find it? I'd like to use it again. Thanks to anybody who knows.

I use either firefox or scarscape.

S.M.A.R.T is the ruler now , it's awsome and very popular now that its public because it doesn't control your mouse and you can be doing almost anything on your computer while autoing :D
