I have acer laptop and the mother board has gone so its been sitting under my bed for months now and i just saw it as i was cleaning out my crap.

ma mum said thow it in the bin.
so i was just wonding is the any part of it what i could sell or do anything with them because it seems to be a waste it just being put in the bin…….

If its just the motherboard, you can take all the parts off of it, and mod a new MB into it.


PS. if you REALLY have to throw it away, dont just throw in the the garbage, take it to a proper waste disposal location.

the display is fine aswell i asked at acer and sent it in and they said around £150 for a new MB so my dad says its not worth it

Put it on ebay and see how much you can get for it, or, if you feel like pricing and selling all the main components separately, do that, you'll probably get more money.

I'd pay at least 20 bucks for the hard drive.

Find the broken component, trash it. Take the rest apart, and eBay it. You could make an easy $200-$400

hmm, i always like to destroy expensive stuff, so just burn it or throw rocks at it or hit it with a bat or something and then throw it out. Should be lots of fun :P

Or even better, go into the highest building u can find, top floor and throw it from there lol.
