I have been reading through the forums, and I see this virtual machine or something like that, and then people also say that they require a good computer,

I have an AMD Athlon 5600 x2 2gb ram evga 8800 gts and I got a pretty good internet connection also,

Would that be fine for a virtual machine? and just could someone explain to me what that is?

Its like you'd be on another computer on the same computer.

And with those comp stats you can run like 3+ vms.

so is it where u connect to another computer via intranet or something and u can control the other computer from the computer that ur on

my dad does that lol

search around for two different programs, personally ive used both and have no preference either way.

#1 - VMware Workstation
#2 - Microsoft Virtual PC

getting a working version and product install keys will be up to you, if you look around, you can find them

yeah its basically anonther computer in your computer acept virtual. it also slows down ur normal pc quite a bit unless you got a good pc.

No, thats remote administration aka in some occasions hacking lol.

i wanna no where the mum and dad came from :P

I vm is like a guest of you pc. like saying "hi man, im going to need like 256 mb of your ram and some of the proseser" then your computer saying "ya np here you go" then the guest boots up an os, useing your computer like a bios.

A VM is basically a computer inside of a computer. That's all, nothing else to it :)
