Well, this may be in the wrong forum, but hey, it did say, "All the help you need."

Now, I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm requesting, but I couldn't really word it so it sounded, like, well if I was asking. So here we go!

Alright, well for school we have a project, it is basically choose a word in which most of the class doesn't know. (I chose narcissistic because, well I am :p) And you need to present it in a memorable fashion. I've decided to create a video of it, not with a video camera, but fully computered. And I'm going to need some major help from everybody who has any clue how to make a video. And since as some of you have heard from my various rants, I'm in a new school, and I need to make a good second impression on the teachers, hopefully this will be it.

Consider me extremely nub-like in video editing/video creating. So even for those who have no clue whatsoever how I create this, I need ideas for well, what to do.

Right now, I've only had a couple minutes to think about it, and as far as my creative mind will extend, I've only thought of one thing to do. Have a video clip, like I don't know, The Matrix or something, and as Neo kills someone, a little arrow will track the person in flight and call him narcissistic as he loves himself! But, something that I'd like is while the person is in mid-air, the video just slows down until it stops which I then call him narcissistic. Then the camera will start to activate again, and slowly speed up to normal speed. Then it'll go back to Neo, defending himself against all the other bad people, and call Neo not narcissistic! And then start with synonyms etc, calling people different things. Then switch to different clips from various movies, add in humor etc.

If anybody has ANY clue on what program to use, or how to use it. I'd really really appreciate the help. I want to make this pretty professional looking.

dunceiam, im sorry i havent had the time to get on to help teach you again but i have been grounded. I promise as soon as i get the time, i will help teach you again.

You shall use Camtasia!

Yes I know what it means :). I've been called it many times.

But Camtasia isn't really video creating, it verges more on video editing. Although I'll still be sure to try it out and see what I can come up with.

Try out macromedia flash if you want to make some sort of animation.

Or take moviemaker and cut up the videos; it might take a few renders before you get things slow enough in some parts and all that, but it should work.

Or if you have time, use Adobe After Effects or some other video editor with a lot of tutorials available.

movie maker out the door and get Vegas then try and figure out how to use it and then presto, your video will kick ass
