SRL Archive - News and General

I'm coming back to SCAR.. mainly because i've been doing nothing but photoshop for the past 2 weeks and RSF has SCAR ranks so I guess I have something to go for. I'm basicly going to have to start all over because if i'm not mistaken SRL 4 got a ton of new functions and got rid of a ton of old ones.. also I wasn't sure where to post this but I figured this was the right spot.

Uhm… hi? I don't know you.. bit you Joined in July, if you are commin back now, it was not like you were.. gone much :p

Just because srl 4 is out, doesnt mean all the ones from srl 3.XX are gone. Im scripting with 4, but im going back and taking bits and pieces from srl 3.XX

And SRL 4 is still in the Beta stage. Most bugs have been worked out already though.

I'm in the same situation as Zeta is.. I went traveling since july and just got back last week :garfield: The "vacation" from internet and computers was kinda painful..:(

Anyways.. runescape is totally changed! Anyone mind giving me some details on what they did to the rs engine.. ex. jagex's banning system, bot-finding system, graphics etc?

And just how reliable is SRL 4 beta? Most of the old scripts from july don't work.. so I'm gonna copy the SRL 4 beta into the old SRL 3.7 folder and see if it works lol. If anyone else got their old scripts to work, plz let me know.

Sorry for the off topic but I feel this needs to be said.

Born, you did this whole rant about how SRL is bad blah blah blah and vowed never to come back. Well its been over a week and your still here. So while you are still here please at least try to be nice? It's getting very tiresome you keep saying your leaving but yet you keep poping up making rude and uncurdious posts. Please be more mature or leave already!

Anyway welcome back Zeta always good to have people who want to contribute.

I'm back too :p I had a 5 month break of this. After my exams I think I'm going to start read on how to script on SRL 4. :)
