ok, so i go to sythe hoping to buy 6 members pins so that i can run a few members scripts, such as flax picker/spinner, pure ess miner and seed theivers. i see a thread, "selling 14 pins 900k each". perfect! i think. just what I wanted, as i had 5.4m, which is 900k a pin. so i talk to the guy on msn, he seems legit, and we decide on my giving him 450k, then he gives me the pin, then i give him another 450k. and so on and so on. ok, I think, he seems pretty trustworthy and i only registered at sythe 15 mins ago, so for all he knows i could be a scammer.

so i give him 450k, he logs. bugger, 450k down the drain. i take a screenie or two, and post it on his topic so no one else gets scammed. about 5 mins after i post it, i get a PM from another trusted member, who has a few "vouches", which is basically rep or something i think. he says "sorry you got scammed, etc etc, would you like to buy the pin from me, im a trusted member." so i say sure can you get me 6, he says no but i can get you 5, 1m each.

so we talk on msn, he seems truly sorry that i got scammed, and we decide on a similar deal to the other one, that is, i give him 1m, he gives me 2 pins, i give him another 2m, he gives me 1 pin, then i give him 2m, and he gives me another 2 pins. fine, i think. so i trade him 1m, and he logs.

so now im 1.4m down the drain, and my hopes of getting pins are all gone, cause who would sell me 6 pins for 4 mil? no one.

moral of the story: fuck sythe.

I think you'd want to blame sythe.org and not sythe. ;)

The RuneScape black market is a waste no matter where you go. I'd recommend strongly to anyone to remove it from their site and stay away from it (from personal experience).

I use Aje as my MM, every pin trade to my main/macroers has been suceceful. I give him 1.1 mill, he does the work, then members ^.^ Very trust worthy guy.

Sorry about what happend Claw, but go macro, maybe in a week or so, you will get that stuff back?? ^.^ Then, scam the scammer ;;)

Two wrongs dont make a right. Wizzy is right lets remember not to blame sythe :p.

There is another site like sythemills.com or somethign like that. The link is on sythe.org. And it is for trusted only sellers. You pay a bit more per pin etc but the trust is there.

Actually I believe sythe.org is actually a pretty good place to trade stuff for the black market… sure, there are lots of scammers, but if you do it the right way and be smart about it it is very hard to get scammed. :)

You guys are idiots….

If you don't know the person and unsure if they they can be trusted then don't do trades with them.

Also, Sythe.org is notorious for scamming, so even going there was a mistake.

maybe try adding aje like has been said before, I think we can trust hy.. or not..?:p

Ask Town, he's a mod over there, maybe he does know a very trusted member? Or indeed use a MM(MiddleMan), you have to pay hem too though..

I don't trust Sythe's forum either…I've gotten scammed lots of times the way the OP did too.

But, if anyone's interested, I have 3 pins :p. PM me…

i have never got scammed i was just wondering is there a way to get pins for free because there is a guide on sythe which i dont want to buy because its 1.5mill and it might be a scam so is there a way to get pins for free without doing surveys

lol sythe is brim full of scammers but truthfully i bought a pin w/o getting scammed, he even went first.

but i did pay 1.5mil, lol
just buy from a mod, i bought from rs2pleasnt

rolf the ppl u traded with are nub scammers. I got 60+ vouchs 330+ posts 20/25 MM completed. I'v handled over 10m in one trade, and sold over 30pins.
