list potential uses here!
ill start:
-real time progress reports
-possibly better antirandoms(i.e. make antirandom.scar a completely seperate compilable script that runs simultaneously with the main script)
-Ill interscar Your messages!!!

note: the last one was not serious

Script control thru IM.

Smooth FindObj: ie where FindObj moves to a point, then checks uptext, moves, checks, moves, checks, etc, instead the mouse moves in a constant motion, while checking uptext the whole time.

Runtime variable control: for example changing a const like NumberOfLoadsToDo.

nice idea boreas.
however there may be a problem in that it takes a while for interscarmessage's to get across from what i see… there is a lag time of about 500ms.
another idea i had was to make a script to change scripts intuitivly.
i.e. a MASTER script, with a bunch of slave scripts.
1st slave script: makes 5 accounts
sends scar message back saying "accounts made" then listing usernames and passes.
master script stops that script, then starts the tut island runner.
2nd slave script: runs through tut island.
send message back: tut island done on these chars(lists chars) in case some of them didnt make it through.
3rd slave script: runs to chickens and kills

that way we could combine multiple scripts in the same way we combine mulitple includes(SRL).
it would be completely modular.

I didn't find a lag a problem when I did the FindObj thing. Though that could be due to the handshakes I put in for stability.

The multi script thing would only be useful for transitioning from acct creator to everything else, due to client focusing. Cool concept though.

not completely true, before leaving the community last time i was working on a plugin that would render manual client focusing obsolete.

even if it were impossible, clients remain in focus when you go file>open doesnt it?
would it be possible to make interscarmessages actually open the script within the other scar program? i cant really see why not.

I meant that an acct creator uses a different client to other scripts. So for a fisher/miner multi script, you could just have them on one scar, using the same client, and you would have procedures called MainLoop1 etc.

How about running two different autoers at the same time? You could run a mining script, say, and switch between clients every time you click on a rock, or whatever

would be extremely slow, to the point where it would be more efficient to just use one script.

Solemn Wishes did it, dunno why it was abandoned.

Hmm… I think Freddy released the InterScarMessage source.

Might it be useful for… Lets say… Making SCAR almost multi-threaded?

I think Freddy could do it if he just made an object like:

program TThreadSuggestion;

Var
MyThread: TThread;

begin;
OnThread(MyThread, 'procname'); //or something like that.
end.

I used it once to make two accounts trade… you send interscarmessages between two clients to tell it when each should do something, so your mosue doesnt get confused…

hmmm
if u were to build a cluster running something similar to VMware… would it be at all possible to have 2 scars running 2 scripts at once simultaneously…
or if that, more then 2
say, 7 air ess runners and 1 crafter.

Yeh, but you've gotta have a computer fast enough to run 7 vms

Wizzup?

Thats not possible, lol.
I have ran 2 scars with 2 essence miners on my comp.
(4 RS fit on 1600 x 1200)

wizzup: multimonitor setup? what about getting a fake multimonitor setup with huge res's that arent actually supported by any monitor, since u dont actually need a monitor to run it, just set the res then press ctrl+r

An idea has like that has been discussed before.

No monitor= infinite resolution
