Ive been listening to alot of Nine inch nails while scripting as of late. Mostly because its almost mechanical music. I think Top 10 is

1. Nine Inch Nails (NIN) - Beginning of the end
2. NIN - Me Im Not
3. NIN - Hurt
4. RHCP - Under The Bridge
5. NIN - Hand that Feeds
6. Radiohead - Airbag
7. RadioHead - Crawling up the walls
8. Radiohead - Lucky
9. Radiohead - Paranoid Android
10. Shihad - Stop

Generally im actually into fast punk and metal. But for scripting i prefer mellow (usually no words) or electronic stuff.

NIN for just the electronic part. And its nice and mechanical
RHCP Just because its a nice mellow instrumental
Radiohead So mellow. Easy to listen to
Shihad My fav band in world. But mostly fast paced but this is slow

Generally though i wont add anythign to my scriopting playlist if i am tempted to sing along to it or tempted to have to listen to every guitar lick

You read my mind :D
<3 Silverstein

The only "stein"-band I listen to, is Rammstein :P
It's just sad they didn't make the Top 40 Heavy Metal list…

Ministry sounds a lot like Rammstein, just to be off-topic :)

-Knives

Too much metal here! And too much Rap!

Well..for me it depends on what I feel like, as it can change drastically.

If I feel happy or excited I'll go with some DnB, maybe some hard house.
If I'm feeling laid back I'll go with some house, liquid funk or trance.
If I'm feeling sad I wont be scripting.
If I'm feeling utterly sick of techno :

• will go to some 80s classics, you know, the good stuff.
• Maybe some They Might Be Giants
• Or maybe some Elvis Costello..
• Perhaps some Bob Marly
• N64 soud tracks (awwww yeah :))
• Bad Religion or System of a Down
• Damn near anything that isn't (most)Metal, (most)Rap or (most)Pop :)

I love music :)

@Ruro..Lol, TMBG –

Particle man, particle man
Doing the things a particle can
Whats he like? its not important
Particle man

Is he a dot, or is he a speck?
When hes underwater does he get wet?
Or does the water get him instead?
Nobody knows, particle man

Triangle man, triangle man
Triangle man hates particle man
They have a fight, triangle wins
Triangle man

Universe man, universe man
Size of the entire universe man
Usually kind to smaller man
Universe man

Hes got a watch with a minute hand,
Millenium hand and an eon hand
When they meet its a happy land
Powerful man, universe man

Person man, person man
Hit on the head with a frying pan
Lives his life in a garbage can
Person man

Is he depressed or is he a mess?
Does he feel totally worthless?
Who came up with person man?
Degraded man, person man

Triangle man, triangle man
Triangle man hates person man
They have a fight, triangle wins
Triangle man

Haha awesome song.

Ruroken, you just eleminated/eliminated (How to spell that damned word?) the best music there is!
This is how I would put it:

Heavy Metal = Best
Rock = Second Best
80's Rock or Metal = Owns! 3rd best.

Ruroken, you can't be human when listening to so many different music-genres :P
I listen to the same track, an average of 3 times a day! I still love it. Good stuff can't be destroyed.

Well, atleast we've got the same sight on 80's-rock.

IEatJ00erBaybees: What are those bands? I've never heard of them before. What genre is it?

-Knives

hmm….

cyclone-baby bash
get it shawty remix-loyld
arabian songs-arabian people
lose yourself-eminem
myband-eminem
in the end-linkin park
some massari songs.

Lol guys. Remember we are talking "scripting music". Not which music is your favourite.

I actually don't listen to music when scripting… I'm not really sure why, maybe I forget. It's not that music distracts me or anything, I do my homework with music on, and I chill with music on, I just don't script with music on for whatever reason :).

It's called Ska. Try youtubing some of the songs. They aren't vulgar or anything..lemme look over the list again, but there's no excessive swearing or anything just incase you have the speakers pumped up.

PM me after you've listened, tell me how you like it. Not enough ska fans on this forum. All I know that listen to ska are Jason2gs, Sp0rk, and someone else who said they liked Reel Big Fish, and I don't remember who that was.. :p

PS: Try MU330 - Raw Fish..that song will really show you what good ska is..perfect horn lines in that, too.

EDIT: http://youtube.com/watch?v=MC4sI-lJMXc

I like that kinda ska as well, but that's just me..probably won't find any other teens who listen to that. It doesn't have the 'wicked jams d00d'. Also PS, that guy on the left is absolutely disgusting at DDR.

not many people here listen to rap! all the weird music from the other side of the pond.

my play list as followed

1.Crank That-Soulja Boy
2.Diamonds in my Damn Chain-Fabolous
3.Hurricane Chirs- Ay Bay Bay
4.50 cent- AYO technology
5.Down aka Kilo-Like a Cholo
6.Baby Bash-Cyclone

theres more but a cant think right now…

Pachelbel - Canon in D

xD
