I think the dragon full helm is better than the 3rd age helm.

in defense maybe, but when you got full 3th age, they just got some special things:
dharocks: if you got low hp then you can make amazing hi hits.
Veracs: hit trough prayer.
Guthangs: if you hit 6 you'll het +6 hp.
