The higher we make the post count the more likely we are going to get more spam. I do like the semi-private idea where we have to invite people with invite codes.

Post counting is kinda worthless. I've seen a bunch of people just posting anything to get their 10 posts. The time limit part is good, no real way around that. Don't know if their is a better way though. Invites maybe but then that does discourage new people from coming. An application/approval process would be too time consuming for the admins so I don't think their really is a better answer than what they have already done.
