Well The day has come which i thought never would But i got keylogged :D

Hes now loggedin on my pure, luckly i changed its password but cant seem to login on it :D

Im now talking with my last pin seller if he has the pin he sold to me so i could recover it. Hopefully he still has it …
EDIT: Yay i got my pin, Now i simply have to … WAIT! z0mg! stupid jagex cant do their job faster.

whenever i got a keylogger, i wouldnt remove it before having some fun :)

get some packet capturing software, find where the keylogged files are going, the packets are unencrypted(coz it needs to be small) so the username and password for the FTP or email will be there for all to see.
once you get that, go to the FTP where all the logs are, change the password, and heres the kicker:
most keyloggerer's end up keylogging themselves when they first make the keylogger, to test it. they dont worry about it because, well, they dont realise anyone will be smart enough to get into their FTP
sort through all the txt files he has in there, log onto each of the accounts, until you find one that has ALOT of items on it, but specifically, the items will be alot of doubles, i.e. 20 sets of full rune for no reason.
this is your guy. now just trade it off to an alternate account, and voila, foiled keyloggerer.

this was probably one of the most profitable things i ever did on RS.

I use a combination of AVG Free and Norton

Avg free is good, also try kaspersky.

i cant remember where, but there was a roundup of pretty much all the major AV's

some open source linux one was the best(As you would probably guess)
then kaspersky
then*gasp* symantec
then AVG
then the rest here.

So, get a VM/unused/new computer, find a keylogging site, download the program, find the FTP and take all the accounts?

no, i never did that, i only used this method a few times, me and benleegt(old member, you guys probably wouldnt know him) did it to this guy who owned a site with a keylogged scar 1.13, the site was called www.mithpowered.com IIRC.

If he stays logged in, he could use an auto clicker and wait 3 or 7 days until the bank gets unlocked.

zone alarm ownz and so does norton(the newest version).

Don't listen to the others. Download avast! -antivirus :) It's THE best :p

Lol that doesn't work with keyloggers, Mostly none of them connect to a FTP anymore with standard auth and if it is then its a newb keylogger than any AV will pick up.

No antivirus will EVER detect them all, anyone can create a non detectable virus/keylogger, all you have to do is create your own. Yea antivirus's can pickup certain patterns and hooks, but if your good enough you can make it undectable. Just like the thousands that are out there now.

Get their IP, ISP and send a naugty email to their ISP with detailed logs. Normally the ISP will react and respond. Most ISP's do not allow any hacking activity. I know this being from the "scene"

Nice, clean, non resource hogging AV is BitDefender Antivirus Plus. Otherwise just get a firewall and block any outgoing connections you don't want.
