Starting a Mindcrafter

DOES NOT WORK. NOT FINISHED.

I started this script a while ago and have put it off for a long time. This is not a working script and isn't safe to run. It still needs A LOT of work to be done, but I've decided to post what I've done so far.

This will compile, but it won't run(There is an error in the login.scar when I run it from my script. I don't know why. <– Something I need help with.

It haven't made the walking or actual crafting part of the script, yet, either.

This is a work in progress. Feel free to comment about anything about it.

Having trouble scripting since all of the updates.

v.1-Not completed, Needed adjustments
v.2-Not completed, Made some adjustments, Removed autocolorit-may add later
v.3-Not completed, Added to Script, Still Getting Errors

Well its better then my first script… except it says you have a duplicate identifier at line 249… I guess X is already a variable in something SRL uses.

Good Luck. The SRL world needs a mindcrafter.

Don't do a mind crafter for your first script, i just tried the walking is imposible is very hard, mine currently uses a DDTM an autocolors find symbols/bitmaps and some guess work, and its still not very accurate… i reccomend you stick to something with alot more way points…

[offtopic/]Does anyone know if there will be a new "extended" folder in srl 4?[offtopic/]

No there is no extended folder in SRL4 :)

Good standards, nice script.

Since your using an essence DTM why does it have to be in the 1st slot? Search for the DTM and withdraw from there. (Make sure the user has it on the first page else more problems :))

Oh yeah, I must have added the DTM a while after I had done most of the script. I'll change that, as well as some of the other errors.

Were you asking how many scripts I have written?
This is my first Runescape script. I learn a lot by making scripts for other, smaller, less complicated, things.

Well, I wanted to challenge myself. Why make a simple (and pretty much usless now that there are so many) script like an autotalker, when I wouldn't learn anything else while in the process of making it. With this script, I will have to learn even more and thusfore become a better scripter. It's not just about making a script. It's about making a usefull and highly demanded script.

When I looked through the SRL folder, I thought, "Wow, this is pretty much written out for me already." If you look through my script, you'll see how much of it is just SRL procedures. I'm sure that in order to become an SRL Developer, you have to be able to make a lot of good procedures and functions on your own, and that is what I plan to do in the future.

[HELP]I need help understanding how to use version numbers/script ID's and also what they are for.:p [/HELP]

I've already learned how to use radial walk and radial road walk and I figured out how to use ddtms from the srl include scripting tools. I'm also learning auto color. I had made the walk to the alter part over five times, using radial walk and mouse clicks, but neither one worked very well. I think I am going to use a combination of DDTM's, radial walk, and mouseclicks. I think my problem before was that I didn't have enough trail markers. I might also try to use walkbesidewall, and the patterns of the trees to help find location.

I guess I could also work on the walking to the alter and actual crafting of the essence, too. That shouldn't be too hard.

I've decided to take your advice. For now, I am done with this script. I will probably finish it sometime down the road, but I think I'll try something else in the meantime.
