Idea for the leechers

You can see how SRL-Forums has done that update to get rid of those leechers, well they just get the post count to 10-12 and start leeching again.

How about make it that if they have about 10-20 posts and been here for about 10% longelivity and if they don't post atleast 1 thing in a period of a week they go back to a Registed user instead of a Junior Srl Member.

Just a thought :)

Please discuss :)

Or just the latter. If they don't post make them go back to registered user.

Yes I think if they don't post at least once within a certain time period then they go back to Registered User. I've noticed since the forum update that the number of new posts have gone up dramatically. Before it used to be something like 800 new posts a day. Now its like 2000 new post a day. And are the mods really going to go through them all to check whether its spam or not?

I agree, I can't find any of the good posts in 'New Posts' any more without searching through a bunch of spam… Leechers, can't live with em', but I could live with a lot fewer of them ;). I am going to make an active effort to use that little report button thing from now on. That doesn't take away reputation does it?

No, reputation doesn't affect anything at this community, just make sure your reports have merit…rest assured, that we are still discussing the best ways to deal with the latest changes, and are actively monitoring the situation :)
