My school is having a sort of poetry competition. Anyone who can right 3 of each kind of the following types of poems wins: Personifacation, I believe*, Cinguain, Limerick, Haiku.

* This poem is like "I believe in [insert something you like/love here]" in every line except the 6th (total of 10 lines). The 6th line is "I don't believe in [insert something you hate here :)]

The prize is to get your name engraved in a plaqe(sp), and yes I really will tell them your name :p So you get fame, glory (because they will be read, and they will send you emails if you want :p ), and 10$ from me. (Because that's the bet with my friends…long story)

Haiku

Without flowing wine
How to enjoy lovely
Cherry blossoms?

A gold bug -
I hurl into the darkness
and feel the depth of night.

Wrinkling up
Along the shoreline
an old ocean

Those are nice haiku's :( I'm bad at them.

I don't know what any of them are, examples? I think i understand Haiku.. Let me try:

The Dark is Swallowing,
Cold, Sharp Chills,
Slowly Down my Spine.

Eh? :p

Explain what they are and i'll give it a try.

I believe in Miracles.
I believe in Faith.
I believe in Sin.
I Believe in Heaven.
I Believe in hell.
I dont believe in god.

Thats one poem.

First Line : 5 syllables
2nd Line : 7 syllables
3rd Line : 5 syllables.

I can't believe Sir Kane, the "Poetic Guy" didn't know that. :p

Ah, Well i don't study poetry or anything. Just enjoy writing it.
