LOL, is the SRL Free Scripts forum missing? Or is my computer just fucked up?

Theyre actually missing, I just noticed it too :S
I think they wanna get rid of leechers or its just a bug or something..

Ok, so my computer isn't fucked up :) I dont really care if they take it away. Lol, i have all the scripts that i use on a regular basis on my computer, so im all good.

Im not aware of anything ? I still see it too btw..

Well, it's happened to me now… that is really annoying, and someone should do something about it. I only just got hit by it about 2 minutes ago.

We are currently doing some forum maintenence which means you cannot see the free scripts section, and probably a lot of other sections.

In about an hours time, your profiles will be updated so that you can see all the categories again

This has only affected Registered users SRL members and above are unaffected

Yeah, trading/buying/selling isn't allowed on this forum, but since my account doesn't have access to the scripts, I can't do anything about it. Although, if you want to look at the comments, just log out and you will be able to see it.

phew :) I already thought you moved all the scripts to members section :D

o well…guess ill have 2 spend 3 hours without leveling

i am online, and been online for a pretty while, thi means ill be rewarded?

He means active like visits almost everyday and his/her posts arent all "i want phree autos!" or have anything to do with "i cant get this work!"

I think they took them away because noob leechers kept asking why they aren't working. It's because there fixing the SRL 4 beta. They said there releasing soon.

Well being a newb and new to scar and scripting, I have started on my 1st script mainly thanks to looking threw other peoples scripts, I look forward to being given the access, to more scripts to how the advanced features work.

This can only benifit the entire scene by encourging more people to learn.

But I wonder that for those of us that cant learn or find it hard to grasp what others can do so easy could you not offer a subscription service to members who take part reguarly and try tojoin in by testing other peoples scripts etc.etc

Couldn't you guys make an announcement or something?

I just love how all the leechers started coming out of no where and started to scream "where are my scripts!!?!?!" except with a more non-professional typing style.

I am liking the idea of the public scripts section.

I almost thought that I had got banned, but luckily I wasn't. :)
I was just trying to give feedback for some script and when I cliked post quick reply it said something like you don't have permission to acces this page.
But I'll give the feedback later when this thing works.

ok back on topic-so we can post scripts that we want everyone to be able to use?(can i put my nonworking scripts in there just for people to see and update if they want to?(cuz thats why it doesnt work))

hi i just came back to the SRL forms, i was gone away for a few months but im active now and when i go into free scripts it says this

Why can people under 25(like me) posts not see the runescape forum and the others? I'm ok with not seeing free scripts.:fiery:

Sounds as if you came along the same time as me. Wish I had come across this before at the min trying to create my own script (how do you script writers know when to call certain procedures and functions), Its new to me but im getting there.

idk ive never scriped anything b4 and all that text is pretty intimidating
i guess ill go learn how to write my own

to figure what procedures and function to use, you think of what you need to do and see if its already made lol :) it alot of reading through the includes lol

It sucks for me because I had less than 25 posts, but I just started posting my own scripts and no longer have access to the thread :p

I have 26 posts, 27 after this but i can't see the scripts place.

Good idea with the new rules but yeah everyone is just going to start spammin things to get their posts count up to 25 so the forum will jsut be filled with mostly spam >.>

next thing they gonna do is ban all the spammers

I cant see it either.. lol i thought i maybe got like banned or something cus i havnt donated a script yet… which is funny cause i just came on to put my script on that i have been working on for like 2 days -.- its a walker to varrock worked on 6/6 of my chars in a row with the last version XD

SRL forums have been restructured!

Due to the rapid growth of the SRL forums, now hitting 30.000 registrees, reforms where needed.

A new usergroup named SRL Junior Members has been created. Registrees no longer have access to profitable Free Scripts. A threshhold of 7 days registree + 10 post count will prevent further influx of leechers.

A lot of forums have either dissapeared or have been merged. I wont go into full detail on that, you will need to find your own way through the forums. We think we have created a better subdivision.

We will also now be very strict on spammers. The SRL community is looking for contributors, not leechers. If you spam, your post count may be reset, or even worse, you may be Banned

We hope you will enjoy the "new" SRL-Forums.
