Well I love to script, but I come to face many problems as I script, these "problems" really hold me back from putting out a great script. Well i am talking about starting to script a script, but not finish. For example just recently I had start working on the sequal to my SRL4 ChopYSell, WillowChopYSell, and I had started working on it, spent around 1 hour and got it ALMOST ready to go, but then all of a sudden, I had no desire or even want to finish it…

Has that ever happened to you? It has also happened to me with another script I was working on, a lumbridge Multi skills, 0-50 in Woodcutting mining fishing and possibly smithing…

So do you have a story like that?

i was working on my fisher when RS suddenly got the update and SRL didnt work anymore.

That just pissed me off right off the back and i couldnt get back to scripting because of life and school.

This is my main problem.. I loose interest halfway through..

when starting to make a script i always try to create it so it gets intresting :)

Well I always ALWAYS try to start a script by scratch, not copying anything from my others, well this willow chopper got SOO much like my OakChopper I just kind of stopped… I should finish it since soo many people are asking for one, but I don't feel the want to script it like I did with my OakChopper…

I've found doing the harder parts first make me finish my scripts for me because once that was done I knew all I had do is do the easy parts.

I make a simple script and then pimp it out when I learn new stuff. Thats how I keep it interesting XD

Hell, the "My Scripts" folder in the Scripts folder of SCAR is full of unfinished projects.

I usually start something as a solution to boredom, but then I run out of bored time :S

I usually end up finishing my scripts - I just don't have that much time to work on them. I also like to keep them interesting (working on an air runner) so it's not just the usual (although my SRL Membership script was a varrock east iron miner and banker that barely worked….)

not really, when i start something i make sure i finish it

and yeah i got that 2 with my 2 scripts… because i cant walk through lumby swamp..

i have a half completed mind crafter. i worked hard but after a update the autocolor and walk dint work. and i stopped because i get sick of it.

best thing to do is say at this time every week i will do say 1 hour of this script



or i will die:)

also i think they should be a unfinished scripts section so someone else can finish your work and improve it

Hahaha I start scripts and then don't finish them. But it's not becuase of lack of interest, it's more often lack of actual coding ability -.- now THAT gets annoying lol
