i was playing runescape when i logged off to get a drink… when i came back, my account was logged in… has this ever happened to any of you guys/girls?
this is a bit scary for me because i have full drag and ranger set and some other stuff on my lvl 103 main. i need some advice, it says my account has been logged in for the past 4 hours:eek:

better change your pass =P if it changes again that means
A: you got a keylogger
or
B: someone knows your recovery questions
if A i suggest remove keylogger and do not use your recovery questions or your account is fucked.
if B i suggest change em

GREAT NEWS! i changed my pass and when i was able to get back on, i was in the same exact spot i logged off and i still had everything lmao…. but somehow my account was logged on for like 4-5 hours and nothing changed =P

lol when they update RS and log u out and u try to go to a world offline it will say ur account is logged in. Dw i was scared 2 when i 1st tried it.

Doesn't it say "error connecting" or something like that. Thats what happens to me after updates.

nope error connecting is when you lose internet i think…

Happened to me once aswell although just for about 5 minutes. It was after i lost my connection, i guess it's the Jagex servers have to catch up or something like that.

On dial-up, if you lose connection or log off just before they put up the update sign thingy, until you disconnect your internet, wait 5 minutes and log back on, or do something with your account, it will say that it is logged in (grumble). If you arn't using dial up no idea :o.

I saw this post and meant to reply sooner…I have noticed it on several occasions, and it seems the higher level your account is, the more prone it is to happen…Happened quite a bit on my main……usually a restart of the computer fixes it…seems the more pixel gold you have, the more your heart beats faster ;)

You're both right

It happens when you lose internet connection and while servers are down and/or being restarted. "Error Connecting" means just more then the internet down because you may still have internet but if it can't connect then there obviously is and error.

Back on topic. I have the samethings happen to my also. It's quite annoying. Once it was doing that and I went on my parents computer on my friends account, cause none of my autos are members, and I was standing right next to my main. It sucked. But RAM is right usually restarting your computer fixes it or me I just unplug the network cable and plug it back in and that works most of the time, not all.

yeh this happened to me but all my money was taken, i had about 17mill or something. That was before i descovered the wonders of Scar and SRL! :P
