SRL Archive - Outdated / Broken

This Script traps Crimson Swift, Golden Warbler, Copper Longtails, Cerulean Twitch and Tropical Wagtail. Use it to level your Hunting from 1 to to 30+. It is designed with utter care, so not to get your precious Member banned. Whenever trouble awaits, it safely logs you out. This script is not designed to go overnight, best it will do is run for two hours max, by then trouble has occurred for sure…

• Place your Player at any Bird Hunting spot.
• Have one birdtrap in invspot 1-24 and have reserve traps in spot 25-28.
• This script is NOT designed for MultiPlayer. Use one Player only.

This simple (yet flawless <- did I say that?) script Hunts any Bird. Make sure you have one Birdtrap somewhere in invslot 1-24. Have some spare ones in invslot 25-28, as this script will log you out whenever trouble occurs, and slot 25-28 are not actively involved in birdtrap checking. The script is based around the simple fact that every Birdtrap state change is accompanied with UpText changes. So it hovers to the placed Trap and monitors the Uptext (Wait till you see SCAR 3.12, no more lag with UpText!)
I have deliberately made this script simple to illustrate the Power of SCAR (and SRL). I have tried to incorporate the use of local x and y to the best of my abilities. I think this script reads nicely.

lol… he left his pass in there, didn't think an admin would ever do that, but i guess everyone isn't perfect, just close to it :P . I just got back from taking down my garbage, never got to look at the script, other then just a glance. Im sure its a good(GREAT) script.

It was called Bird Trap, but I renamed it Bird Hunter, but I posted Bird Trap. Nmv, it was a unique pw anyways, but I must say again……..

Apparantly chimchompas (i think theyre called that) are good for hunting :) one of my mates made over 30m and got from whatever level it is to catch them to 99 in under 2 weeks, solely from them

I have 1 hunting on my main who has 95 plus mele and mage and range stats plus many other 90 plus stats. Its highly tempting to use this as a total level boost because otherwise I will never hunt. But that nagging never auto on my main thingy in the back of my head is screaming at me no.

I just made one of my older Players Member (for one month only) and I want to see how far I can push it. So far so good. I only do Thiev and Hunt now

Gonna make a swamp tar picker and banker for the fuel? Thats if your gonna use them that is. Its a great idea really. It could make alot of cash if you were to auto hunt salamanders. And theiving the master farmer made me over 200k in herb seeds in less than 45 minutes once. Its not joke. Ok enough spamming your thread. Its just the first hunter script I have seen.

If you have any ideas on levelling a skill and thus making "profit", I am all ears. But it better be creative, cause I refuse to make "commercial" scripts like flax pickers and such.

It starts off setting the chats off - all perfect. Then it moves the mouse to the right of the snare in the first inventory spot (the mouse isnt on the snare) and just stays there until the player auto logs out.

Edit: No idea why but it seems to be working now. I had replaced the snare bitmap, just not the raw bird meat. anyway - testing.

Also make sure have a nice dark background to read the UpText, white backgrounds make UpText unreliable.

My hunter is already 37 (I think) and I was gonna write a script to deadfall barbed-tailed kebbit in the jungle, but never got around to it.

Are you and Wizzy writing a collection of hunter scripts? Now I know he didn't do his hunter legit :p

mines ran for a max of 15 mins i dont expect like 3 hours but just 1 hour any help please and btw i lost 3 of my bird snares *sigh* gotta go back to yanille now :(

At the outer south bounds of the RS map, just near the end of the map

For some reason (and it only seems that it does this for me) both of the scripts mess up for me. For the BirdHunter, when I start the script, the mouse moves to the upper left of the inventory, just sits there, and causes lag. For the MasterFarmerThiever, it will walk from Draynor Bank to the center of Draynor, just sit there as it keeps checking the hitpoints, (might hover over the Farmer every once in a while) and it just keeps clicking the mini map on top of my character. Can you help me at all?

32 bit color, very bright, low detail?

It's very bright and low detail, but I never had any problems with the 32 bit true color thing. How do I set it to that?

For the MasterFarmer the soultion is simple. Manually pick the greenish (52… - 58…) cloth colors and place 'm inside the script (dunno what line) I have used tol = 1, so to aviod wacky mousemovements. But unfortunately, the MasterFarmers clothes do differ from world to world, so please pick 2 - 4 color manual.

As for BirdTrap…..hmmm. It will only work with one BirdTrap. Start the script with the BirdTrap in your invent. You may place spare birdtrap in the lowest invent row, as this row is not used in the script.

EDIT: Nevermind. Stupid me didn't take the time to read through the whole thread to see what the problem was. For the Bird Hunter, all I had to do was get the bitmaps for SCAR 3.11. Stupid me :duh: :rolleyes:

I seem to be lacking the prayer include:

 {.include SRL\SRL\misc\Prayer.scar} 

I had Divi download SRL for me but when I got the error saying that this include did not exist I checked it out and apparently I don't have that one little script. After that I downloaded and updated SRL 3.81 (or whatever) to the new SRL beta and I still seem to be lacking that file. I have Path and then it skips right to SCSS. Can someone please upload their include for me so that I may try this script out?
