First of all this is an opinion and I'm a 14 year old so don't mind me being immature/spelling in this thread please

Ok so we all know what a SRL member is correct?

ok they are individuals that have made a script (worthy) and got a title and got the so called 'Extra Forum Features'.

Well i agree with that but we are getting way too much members ( don't get me wrong that's a good thing)

So I was thinking why not get a new title?

For example

and individual (SRL Member) passed another (much much harder) application and got a new title above SRL member

well discuss?

Note this is an opinion i decided needed to be discussed further so no flamming eh?

also Offtopic i would like to bring up an idea ( nothing to do with this)

Recently we have had very stupid and time waster applications.

So i would like to ask if we can somehow report them and mods can Tag them so when they next apply we will see that they have wasted our time before (Note : this is in very stupid apps) and we can judge them more justly.

Let the discussion begin!

You mean like a level between Developer and SRL Member? There already is one, SSRL. Boreas made it clear that he doesn't want it to be talked about, or for people to know who's in it. You can't apply for SSRL though, invite only.

More forums would only make more space to scroll across while trying to maneuver through the forums. I think that the line between SRL members and developers is pretty clear.

What does SSRL stand for?

Edit: I agree with hugo. I think members should have something higher to aim for/work towards. More of a motivating force. Dev is a high title, but I think there should be some kind of step between.

What is this SSRL? It seems even though we're SRL members, we get kept in the dark, treated the same as the public.

We only heard about Benlands experimentation with a new form of silent mouse through solar, and now we hear about even more things kept 'hidden' from us.

I think a step between would be a good idea. The truely trustworthy SRL members who have real skill may be placed in it, and they get kept in the dark alot less.

Just my thoughts.

Yes the jump between dev and srl member is very large. So I created the Senior SRL Member group. All you need to know is, don't stop trying after becoming SRL member, and if you deserve SSRL, you will get a pm.

Thanks Boreas for clearing that up. I know, being one of the new SRL members, that after I became a member, I really had nothing more to work for. I spent the last couple months preparing and learning SCAR and SRL functions in my free time so I'd be ready to get in. And don't get me wrong, I love the community here, but I'm the kind of person who needs motivation, and I haven't really found any lately. I have the same title as a lot of SRL members who are WAY above my level, and it's good to know there's an SSRL level, because I know nowhere near what they do. It gives me something to work for and a reason to keep learning.

EDIT: Are there any added perks for being SSRL? I don't really care either way, I'm just curious if it's a personal satisfaction thing, or an actual reward thing. Either way, it's made me want to script again.

SSRL Members have their own private boards similar to what SRL member have.

Now you know there is something to work forward to. To sum it all up:

  • SSRL - Middle of SRL member and SRL Developer
  • SSRL - Stands for "Senior SRL Member" (Originally Secret SRL Member)
  • Extra boards available to SSRL Members, similar to what SRL members have
  • Invite only. Request or hint that you want to be one, and you will have a 0% chance forever. Period.
  • No one is allowed to discuss anything else about this.

Thats all anyone knows about SSRL members, thats all you will ever know unless you become one.

How to become one?

Script, be nice, help out others, contribute to the site. Generally go about doing what you normally do on this site, and if we think you are really putting in an effort, you'll know.

Thanks.
