and custom layouts for mysace aren't in php, those are in css and html (sometimes js i think), but certainly no php

Yeah, it's a bit girlish, but it's a very good html teacher for younger-people.

You can't use JS on myspace, this is to reduce the threat of a XSS attack on the site.

Sucks because I wanted to run a AJAX worm on my account which would edit everyone who see's my space to change their profile to include the worm, and also to include a picture. Thus everyone who see's their profile will be infected, ETC ETC.

Anyway…

w3schools (as mentioned above) is a great resource to learn HTML, PHP, CSS and almost everything to do with the web.

That will be wierd unless you are a PHP expert! For beginners W3schools is the place to start…PHP & MYSQL Bible(book) is probably the best but for quicker reference and help W3schools is good.
