Why do people use forward slashes such as {.include SRL/SRL.scar} and more importantly why does SRL.scar…

Windows uses back slashes to denote directory separation, even Freddy told me it annoys him. :P

So please do us OCD people a favor and use back slashes (IMO you don't use standards if you don't use back slashes).

Will do.

Kinda wondered which was correct, but since both work, I never really cared.

Both worked, and I saw it as a kinda path to the srl.scar file, hence why I used / and will continure using it.

When I inlcude files from extended folders I'm going to alternate between / and \ just to annoy you =P

My girlfriend has ocd. Bugs the crap outa me. Kinda mild form of ocd tho. Has to have everything in the correct position in a draw and shit. Can't mix food on a plate. I just go up to her and mix all her food around and she just looks really stressed out.

Hmmm, thinking about that im kinda a dick ….

Eh, I use foward slashes. . . The only thing that annoys me is when people switch back and forth.

/ is faster in my honest opinion :D but I use \ most of the time…

Its so hard to do the "\" for me its "Ctrl" + "alt" + "+" When the normal "/" is only Shift+7 Same thing when making arrays its sooo annoying to make the [] (ctrl+alt+(7 or 8)) But i shall try to use the correct one :P

\ just bugs the hell out of me, it looks annoying. It also took me about half a minute to find the button.

Weird thing is when it is

program New;
{.include I/am\nubkins.scar}
begin
end.

it changes to

Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR\includes\I\am\nubkins.scar does not exist.

But when you get an error in the script it doesn't…still \ is more aesthetically pleasing to the OCD. :)

@Jukka UK QWERTY?

that's the same as doing {.include SRL\SRL.scar} it automatically searches in your include folder

I know, note the / in the {.include} and the lack of them in the output.

I alternate

{.include SRL/SRL\Core/Antirandoms\Common.scar}

…

Naw kidding, I'm "/" just because i'm used to it now. Doesn't really make a difference

Does anyone has any idea does UK keyboard difference from Finnish ones? Because that'd might be the reason when I was supposed to format my TinyXP, it didnt react when I pressed enter.

EDIT: Oh, and the above one was an edit too.

okay, my mistake, I meant where it is on the US keyboard. In US layout it's where the # is on UK.
