Well, as of now, SCAR is unable to access a document/file that is username and password protected, like so: http://esteban.freehostia.com/AutherizationPassword/

What would be a great new idea for SCAR is that SCAR would be able to use getpage(http://esteban.freehostia.com/AutherizationPassword/); and if that page requires authorization, you would be able to attempt to enter the username, and it those are correct, it successfully can getpage, instead of the usualy 401 authorization required error. This would put authorization on a whole new level, i believe.

I think yes, but not sure.

if its possible with delphi you should be able to do it in scar(via plugin probably)

you could probably do it with sockets. Like, just use OpenConnection, SendConnectionData, and ReadConnectionData. I'll try to brew up an example for you.
