Yeah, I skimmed over the Wikipedia articles, Searched the forums, and googled but didn't find exactly what I was looking for…


But, I only have four questions.

1. What the values are for XYZ, you know, like HSL (hue, luminance…).
2. How to make - and edit XYZ color variables in SCAR.
3. Advantages XYZ may have over RGB and HSL. (I expect to figure this out if my other questions are answered)
4. Does SCAR support CMYK? And if not, please post Ideas of why it would be good… So I can send it to freddy. (I personally like CMYK after using it in photoshop)

Jagex generates their colors with either HSL or RGB.

What's CMYK?

cyan, magenta, yellow, key (black). its the system printers generally use to print stuff

CMYK reminded me of "SMYCK" Is there a color called that? I somehow have a strange feelin…

Boreas, the reason I was looking into XYZ color is because it is one of the two whole spectrum (or something… read it on wiki) color spaces. (Other than sRGB).

@iloveit - From what I saw the values are confuzzling.

Yea but for RS scripting that doesn't do you any good. Trust me I read all that stuff before there was RGB auto coloring :p

I thought it might be some good. Are you sure there isn't anything comparable to how edge finding in HSL works?
