Mr. Klean and Hobbit have very kindly setup a Community Bank for us to collect together a prize for the SRL Scripting Competition prize winner

The idea is for whoever whats to contribute/donate to the prize, do so, and then the contents of the bank goes to the SRL Scripting Competition Winner at the end of each competition.

Hobbit is in charge of taking donations for the competition, so if you are feeling generous enough to donate some of your autoed goods to the SRL Scripting Competition prize, please contact him to do so.

The prize is entirely made up of contributions. You don't have to contribute all of the time, just when you feel you want to. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Every competition we aren't gonna unload the entire bank. We need to keep a reserve just incase donations stop for awhile. So before competitions we will determine what a good prize will be for the difficulty level of the script

You might want to decide based on the results rather than the basic idea. In some competitions people will go so above and beyond what the original script was that they deserve more than just what someone who made an average script deserves.

Maybe it will be a base prize then aditionals can be added on depending on the above and beyondness ;)

[somewhat offtopic]I haven't gotten on SRL for about a day and a half because I played a big 1000 person poker tourney. Ended up 129th. Decided to crash at a friends because I was 40 miles away from home and I didn't feel like driving. Guess what I come back to, 1200 new posts to read…. Hey star, say that the winner isnt looking for rs cash, would a copy of your ess miner be able to be chosen as a prize instead? i know i probs wont win lol but im sure that others would choose that instead. it saves you 2m :) and would that be the super special version or whatever with the extras, cause it is 1m more than the normal price?

i think that for the above and beyond thing, the winner's points (idk what theyre out of, 500 maybe cant remmebr from last competition) should correspond with the winnings. perfect score=3m, 400=2m, 300 and under(very unlikely for a winner)=1m

The thing is, if you want prizes that big, you'll have to help us get contributors. Right now we have probably around 504k for sure and 2m thats in limdo right now. So, any contributions or help spreading th word would be appreciated.

i think everyone's forgetting some star said in the first post.
you could donate pat of what you auto. for example if you've been mining ess, why not just contribute with 1k ess? it's not that much, but many small contributions are already worth a good chunk :)

It can be anything, autoed goods, cash, etc. Even helping spread the word would be a contribution. Mr.Klean mentioned this like maybe a week ago so it will probably take time to get going.

I got some guys mining iron for me, they are big noobs, but I give em pickaxes. They mine iron and I buy it pretty cheap from them, and I sell it two times higher as I buy from them.
When talking to them I call em my employees, but then talking to my friends I call them my slaves.

How about this..Anyone whos interested in this should put something like ~Contribute to SRL forums, donate anything! Just pm hobbit and make someone very happy!~ In their sig because I can't afford to give anything away atm I only have 10k…Oh I can give away some flax :D will 1k flax be good?

Mhhmm, Tara's ChickenKiller can be a good way, i've got already 17k feathers or so.
Maybe this so unds a good idea, ask to the SRL Members who use TAra's Chickenkiller (or ask Tara's himself :p) if th ey want to give (a part) of the feathers they received (i already have about 17k or something).
Then if you have a bulk of feathers (who knows, maybe you can get 50k+ feathers if the SRL Members show their charity) then you can sell it for like 5+ gp each (at members) what equals 2.5m!!

Shouldn't that be a great idea?
Btw, I'm planning to run Tara's Chicken Killer every 2 days while I'm at school, I thin ki'll have some feathers after a weak (3 *10+ hour autoing)

I too run Tara's a lot but I haven't lately because I'm still keeping my army dormant till SRL 4 is fully out of Beta stage.

I think you should make one where each contender has to think of an different "idea", not normally used.

That would be nice, no other rules, except extraordinary location or something.

wow, i wish i had the time to make a awesome script, but im to dum, 13 year old with a crap computer (i had a insane 1 untill my dad took it to put in his office) and it lagges allmost too much to auto :(
