I'm new to SRL and I don't know what to do to make scripts.
Can anyone tell me what I should do for my first script?

Hey, and welcome to the forums. I'm glad to see that we have a new member interested in scripting :D (It's kinda rare…).

But, as a new member, I have some suggestions for you.

-Try the search button - this can save you hours, getting results instead of waiting for replies.

-Go to the tutorials section, many things there… But don't go to the advanced to quickly, some noobs came out not so sane…

i did search the tutorials and i still couldn't find anything.

Don't tell me you didn't find anything, you did. Just look in the tutorials section -> Begginer.

What were you looking for that you didn't find?

Well, I personally know a friend that started out scripting by making an auto talker. I have only completed 1 script and that is my farming timer(not many people start out with that :P).

A good choice could be an auto miner or auto woodcutter, power mining of course and then adding banking procedures as they can be quite diffucult to actually master and make reliable.

So have fun an don't focus on I have to complete this. If you are making somthing and get stuck but want to try something new, don't beat your brains out, just try something new, and use the search button, and check the Scripting Help threads because a lot of people experience the same type of problem.

id also suggest tr to look at other peoples scripts, try to understand them. nd then search for the things you didn't understand in their scripts

Make sure you don't copy though.

Especially make sure you don't copy and then apply. :eek:

Go to the tutorial island section and start to look in the begginers section. A suggestion is you start out with a simple autotalker. After that, take it another step further and make an autominer or powerchopper.

Also use SRL because if you don't, its an instant ban.
