You thought it wasn't possible, you thought I couldn't do it(sort of), YOU ARE WRONG!

This nifty little script should be started up when you plant the plant. The script has all the options in there. If you are doing one then input none in between the ''. Any questions please ask.

This script does nothing except when you press alt will tell you hold long it has been running, if you lets say planted potatoes and it is past the 40 minutes (script has to be running entire time) and you press the ALT button on your keyboard it will tell you if your plant is ready or not.

You can check anytime by pressing ALT.

Future Updates: Sound when it is time to pick your plant. - 95% Complete!!

I have the script ready for sound. It will not play the sound I am adding but will play a default Windows Sound. I will release the script tonight and tomorrow morning I will add in the custom sound for download.

Here are the steps for tomorrow's download

Step 1: Download Script and Sound. (FarmingTimerSound)/(Success.wav)
Step 2: Place the sound in C:My Documents
Step 3: Enjoy

Hes right. You could use a timer on your ipod for this. It doesnt do anything but show time running. This is a REALLY simple script. The reason its never been done is because of the invention of the clock and common arithmetic.

Well then you have to do that entire step of adding, instead this does it for you. This also shows you how much longer, and eventually I will add it to play a sound when your plants are ready so you can go and do what ever else you want.

It should be in this section because it tells you when your plant is ready and not just the script time. I know it is simple it is just I got bored today and decided to make this.

It is a more of instead of sitting at the computer checking every 5 minutes to see if your plants are done, you can just press alt and it will tell you. Ouch I just bit my tounge.

BTW a PDA would do better :P has an alarm clock. Thats what I use to use anyways.

Nice idea tails, gives those of us that are too lazy to remember when we planted our seeds a fighting chance, will be much better with the sound.

nice…now i dont have to press calculator on my keyboard when i want to see what time i need to pick stuff. you should add in a sound for when its done should only take like 2 min.

Sound is almost here actually… I felt like creating a really cool jig on my Saxophone to do. But I might just use my electric keyboard, or horribly tuned acoustic Guitar.

BTW anyone that is looking at it and relises it could be done in half the amount of lines then, well you are right but I decided that I would make it look at big as possible to make it seem, elaborate.

BTW BTW The sound is almost done, Tomorrow morning I will record it in my studio(My acoustically padded room) The script is all set, and it actually works now but will only use the Windows beep sound when you click something your not suppose to. I guess I can put it up.

BTW BTW BTW Anyone that is musically inclined, or has heard music from before 1969 will find that I am going to use a Jazz Scale on my Baritone Saxophone (The 3 Foot Tall One); Of course you could put what ever sound you want and name is Success.wav and it would work.

Why don't you make a farming script and once it says "you plant the seeds" or something then it runs this utility? Just an idea for you

Well I will do that kind of stuff, once SRL 4 comes out, because I don't know what is in it so I don't want to use something and not be able to in 2 or 3 days when SRL comes out.

omg dude il say this only one more time, not to be harsh, but this is just an ordinary timer and not a farming script! This is not in the right section, mods please move this to the utilities section.

Tim I generally don't stoop down to arguing where a script goes, but It isn't just a timer that plays sound, You put in what ever type of plant you want in on the top of the script. So… It can't be an ORDINARY timer but a FARMING timer.

Heh, well I was bored so I tried to take as long as I could with this script. And I am not entirely sure how case works… I am reading a couple of tutorials about it though.

BTW Guys I am so sorry I have uploaded the cool sound I have promised yet, I haven't had time, been busy with electrical work for my pool's filter.

This is a very nice timer you have here ;)…It belongs in utilities, but don't despair…you could still be the first person to actually write a "Farming Script".

Drats… Anyways I will work on my other farming script, once I get my membership back. That one actually does the farming.

But in the beginning you choose what plants you are planting… And it only shows you what you put a plant in for. But fine oh well.
