Hello all. Decided to work on a python bot. Sole reason being readability of the language. I have basic key/mouse inputs done. One thing I am struggling with is whether to use color or some form of api hack-ery like ogLib does. Except to use the nxt client it'd have to be directx, I think.
In terms of api hooking, I've tested this code: deviare hooking engine. It works. I don't fully understand HOW it works, but I was hoping someone could tell me if directx hooking can potentially work with deivare, or even at all in python. I'm probably way in over my head, but I'd love to learn how to do this since I could transfer it to many games whereas with color I'd be limited to very simple games like Runescape.
Any tips, guidance, & resources would be greatly appreciated. For all I know I am approaching this in a totally incorrect manner, which is why I am making this post since I don't want to waste too much time on a dead end.
